Intermediate Education - Proposed General Transfers 2025 - Submission of Medical Certificates to claim preferential categories and Special Points thereof - Certain instructions - Issued - Regarding Proc. Rc. No. Ser.I/2050794/2025 Dated:29-04-2025
All the Regional Joint Director of Intermediate Education, District Vocational/Intermediate Education Officers in the State are informed that the General Transfers in the Department of Intermediate Education have been scheduled in the month of May 2025. In this regard, employees working in the department will be categorized to determine priority during the transfer counselling process under the preferential category on Medical Grounds and allocation of special points thereof.
To ensure uniformity and authenticity in obtaining Medical Certificates afresh for claiming the said preferential categories and special points, the following hospitals in the erstwhile districts have been designated for issuing Certificates through their respective Medical Boards. In the event that Specialist Doctors for the identified disease are unavailable, the designated hospitals are requested to refer the cases to other appropriate Government General Hospitals.

Hence, all the employees working in the Department of Intermediate Education who intend to claim preferential category under medical grounds and special points thereof are instructed to obtain the necessary Medical Certificates afresh only from the above-mentioned designated hospitals. Certificates obtained from any other hospitals will not be entertained or accepted under any circumstances. The employees claiming transfer under the following categories should mandatorily produce medical certificates afresh:
- Employees/ their spouse or dependent children having life-threatening diseases and undergoing treatment i.e. Cancer, Open Heart Surgery, Major Neuro-Surgery, Bone TB, Kidney Transplantation / Dialysis, Organ Transplantation, Spinal Surgery.
- Employees having Mentally challenged children/spouse or dependent children suffering with Thalassemia /Haemophilia /Muscular Dystrophy or dependent children born with congenital heart defect (hole in heart) and who have undergone surgery within last 3 years.
In view of the above, all the RJDIEs, DVEOs and DIEOs in the State are directed to communicate these instructions to all the employees concerned and ensure strict adherence to the same during the process of transfer counselling.
