The attention of all the RJDs/ DEOS & APCs in the State are informed that, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, mandates the implementation of Social Audits in government-managed schools across the State. In light of this, the Social Audit process will commence 30/12.2024 and the schedule of visits will be shared by the AP Society for Social Audit, Accountability and Transparency (APSSAAT).
In this regard, all RJDs, DEOs, and APCs are hereby instructed to direct the MEOs and the concerned School Headmasters to extend full cooperation to the Social Audit team. They should ensure that all necessary information and records are made available to the audit team as required.
Instructions to the Regional Joint Directors (SE), District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators;
1. The DEOs and APCs are directed to instruct the concerned School Headmasters to submit all required documents, registers, records, and information to the Social Auditors in a timely manner.
2. The DEOs and APCs are directed to designate the CMO as the Nodal Officer for overseeing the Social Audit process.
3. The DEOs and APCs are directed to issue instructions to the Mandal Education Officers (MEOs) to organize virtual meetings with all Headmasters in their respective jurisdictions regarding the Social Audit.
4. The DEOs and APCs are directed to ensure that the concerned MEOs make arrangements for the accommodation of the Social Auditors in the schools, ensuring that this does not disrupt the daily activities of the school.
5. MEOs are expected to take full responsibility for managing the entire Social Audit process within their jurisdiction.
6. The Headmaster of each school is responsible for ensuring the timely submission of all required documents to the Social Audit team.
7. The DEOs and APCs are directed to instruct the concerned Headmasters to maintain and preserve all required records and registers and to cooperate fully with the Social Audit team to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the audit process.
8. The DEOs and APCs are directed to issue instructions to the concerned MEOs to ensure their attendance at School-Level Public Hearings.
9. The DEOs and APCs are directed to issue instructions to the concerned MEOs to attend School-Level Public Hearings as part of the Social process.
10. The DEOs are directed to issue instructions to the concerned Dy. Educational Officers to attend Mandal-Level Public Hearings related to the Social Audit.
11. The DEOs are directed to personally attend District-Level Public Hearings, accompanied by additional Project Coordinators.
12. The Regional Joint Directors are directed to attend District-Level Public Hearings to ensure effective participation in the Social Audit process
