The Government of Andhra Pradesh took up the initiative of Swarna Andhra @ 2047 program, a transformative initiative which addresses key priorities such as human development, governance excellence and socio-economic transformation has set an ambitious target to transform the state into a $ 2.4 trillion economy by 2047 as part of Viksit Bharat@2047 which aims for a developed India by 2047.
In the reference1st read above, the Village Secretariat Officer's Association requested to absorb some of the Digital Assistants into Planning Department and are desirous to work under the Technical and supervision of Planning Department with a suitable job chart and promotion channel and as part of promotions, opportunities be provided for the Digital Assistants.
In the reference 6th read above, the Director, Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Vijayawada has informed that, Digital Assistant services are useful for Swarna Andhra@2047 program, Monitoring sectorial activities across Agriculture, Industry and services through key performance indicators (KPIs) and also flagship programs of the Government like Janmabhoomi, etc. and other statistical items of works, viz., collection and compilation of Rainfall and Seasonal Conditions, Yield Statistics, Area Statistics, TRAS, Sample Check on area enumeration under AS 1.0 & 1, Price Statistics, Socio Economic Survey, Industrial Statistics, Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) and Index of Industrial Production (IIP) on Monthly basis, Minor Irrigation Census, Economic Census, Population Census, Caste Census, Statistics for Local Area Planning (SLAP), Analysis of Regional Accounts, Hand Book of Statistics at village level and requested the Government to issue necessary orders for utilizing the services of 277 Digital Assistants in the Assistant Statistical Officer vacant posts, subject to resolving of the service related issues, acceptance of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Qualification, selection process, scale of pay, service rules, etc.,
Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby decide to constitute a committee with the following officers to examine and prepare proposal for filling vacancy of Assistant Statistical Officer from eligible Digital Assistants.
