Assessment Framework for PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024
Survey Details: What Will Be Assessed?
Assessment Design:
In PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024, students from Grade 3, Grade 6, and Grade 9 will be evaluated across different subjects and competency areas:
Assessment for Grades 3 and 6:
At Grades 3 & 6 learners will be evaluated in Language, Mathematics, The World Around Us (TWAU) and the assessment time will be 90 minutes.
Assessment for Grade 9:
At Grade 9, learners will be evaluated in Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science and the Assessment time for them will be 120 minutes.
This survey also delves deeper into understanding learning conditions by collecting contextual data through Teacher Questionnaires (TQ), School Questionnaires (SQ), and Pupil Questionnaires (PQ).
Assessment Tools:
- Tools designed based on NAS-defined Learning Outcomes in competency mode by NCERT.
Student Preparation Action Plan:
- SCERT is actively collaborating with Ei and LFE to prepare study
- SCERT will send weekly practice tests.
- Every Saturday practice test to be administered in all management schools including private unaided schools.
- DEOs are directed to curate District-level preparation study materials aligning with CBA/NAS questions model by concerned
- District Project Coordinators and APCs are advised to allocate necessary budget from available funds at District Samagra Shiksha
- Director SCERT will closely monitor the implementation of this action plan and review the progress achieved on a weekly basis.
