3. Minutes of the 1st review meeting on PR&RD Department held on Date: 20.08.2024.
In the reference 1st read above, orders have been issued for creation and sanction of posts at Secretariat, HoD level etc., to the Department of Gram Volunteers/Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats/Ward Secretariats. In the said G.O. orders have also been issued among others to bring the A.P. State Institute of Rural Development (APSIRD) of PR&RD Department, under the administrative control of GVWV & VSWS Department, along with posts and budget, as a transitory measure, till a final decision is taken in the matter.
In the G.O. 2nd read above, further orders have been issued transferring the A.P. State Institute of Rural Development along with posts and budget to the administrative control of the Department of Gram Volunteers/Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats/Ward Secretariats, as a transitory measure, till a final decision is taken in the matter. The A.P. State Institute of Rural Development shall carry out all its activities relating to training of employees of Panchayat Raj institutions of A.P. and to the elected local body peoples representatives.
In the reference 3rd read above, during the review meeting on PR & RD Department held at 12.00 Noon on 20.08.2024 it was directed to bring back the APSIRD&PR under the control of PR & RD Department.
Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby decided and bring back the A.P. State Institute of Rural Development (APSIRD) from the administrative control of Gram Volunteers / Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats / Ward Secretariats (GSWS) Department under the control of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department along with (30) sanctioned posts and budget.
The Director, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, A.P. / the Commissioner, APSIRD&PR, A.P, and the "Department of Gram Volunteers/ Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats / Ward Secretariats shall take further necessary action in the matter accordingly.
This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU-PR&RD, RWS) Department, U.O.No.2550963/FIN01-FMU OPC (PRRD)/107/2024-FMU-PRRD RWS, (Computer No.2523436), dated 17.09.2024.
