The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state is invited to the references cited, wherein, in the reference 1st read above, the Government transferred the supervision and administrative responsibilities of Municipal Schools, including service matters of the Municipal Teachers, to the School Education Department on par with the system being followed in the respect of Government and Panchayat Raj Schools. Following this, the Government adopted the existing four (4) types of Municipal Teachers Service Rules and issued amendments to them on par with Government and Panchayat Raj Headmasters I Teachers Service Rules, vide references 2nd to 5th read above.
In this context, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, it has been decided to take up promotions in Municipal Management Schools to the posts of School Assistants from Secondary Grade Teachers, and to the posts of Head Masters Gr-ll from the School Assistants on adhoc basis in the State.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are requested to take up the promotions as per the above schedule to the posts of Head Masters Gr-II and School Assistants in Municipal Management Schools in the state, duly following the guidelines and instructions issued from time to time in this regard. Any deviation found in implementing the guidelines and instructions will be taken into task and initiate the suitable disciplinary action against the responsible officer.
