Government have decided to engage the B.Ed candidates of DSC-2008 on Contractual Services in Erstwhile districts (except Hyderabad) in the State of Telangana and Govt. have requested the Director, School Education, Telangana to furnish the details of the B.Ed candidates who were affected by the reservation of 30% quota of the SGT posts exclusively for the candidates with D.Ed. qualification, vide the amendments issued to the recruitment rules in G.O.Ms.No.28, Education Department Dated 29.01.2009.
In this connection, all the effected B.Ed candidates in DSC-2008 are hereby informed that the School Education Department has list B.Ed candidates in DSC- identified the Erstwhile Districts of affected B.Ed 2008 and also a prescribed verification form is prepared and the same is available on the Telangana School Education Department website i.e., www.schooledu.telangana.gov.in for download.
Therefore, all the effected B.Ed candidates in DSC-2008 are requested to download the verification form and fill their details in the verification form duly giving their consent to work on Contractual Services in Telangana School Education Department and submit the same along with all relevant documents to the Erstwhile District Educational Officer Concerned.
All the effected B.Ed. candidates in DSC-2008 are also informed that the certificate verification will be done in office of the Erstwhile District Educational Officer Concerned from 27.09.2024 to 05.10.2024 and further to note that no application/request will be entertained after last date.

The attention of all the District Educational Officers of erstwhile Districts (except Hyderabad) in the State are informed that, Government vide reference 8th read above have decided to extend the benefits of contractual appointment to the unsuccessful candidates of DSC-2008 as was done in A.P. and as per the interim directions of Hon'ble High Court orders in W.P.No. 18683 of 2009, Dated 08.02.2024.
Further Government also informed as per the directions of the Chairman of Cabinet Sub-Committee, issued instructions vide reference 10th read above that, the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad is directed to submit the following information for sanction of the required number of contractual services in this regard, after thorough verification of the records pertaining to DSC-2008 recruitment, so as to place before the Cabinet Sub Committee.
- I) The district (erstwhile) wise list of DSC-2008 applicants who were affected by the reservation of 30% of the SGT posts exclusively for the candidates with D.Ed. qualification vide the amendments issued to the rules in G.O.Ms.No.28 Education Department dated 29.01.2009.
- ii) Out of the list of applicants in (0 above, the district wise list of persons who are willing to offer their services on contractual basis in the new districts corresponding to the erstwhile districts for which they have
iii) The district-wise requirement of sanction of contractual services in the new (33) districts keeping in view the number of affected willing candidates and also the requirement of schools in the new districts.
In this connection, all the District Educational Officers of erstwhile Districts (except Hyderabad) in the State are informed that the prescribed Verification Form is designed for obtaining details from the unsuccessful affected B.Ed. candidates in DSC-2008 due to change in pattern. The list of unsuccessful B.Ed. candidates in DSC-2008 is made available on the official website of Telangana School Education Department i.e., www.schooledustelangana.govin for download purpose. The same is available erstwhile district wise.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers of erstwhile Districts (except Hyderabad) in the State are requested to take action on the following points:
- The affected B.Ed. candidates appeared in DSC-2008 will submit the Verification Form duly filled and giving their consent to work on Contractual Services in Telangana School Education Department with all relevant documents, attested by the Gazetted Officer from the State of Telangana, to the concerned Erstwhile District Educational
- The DEO concerned should verify the details furnished by the candidate with the relevant information & record available with 0/0 the District Educational Officer and certify that the same is found correct or not.
- The DEO concerned should clearly mention whether the candidate is recommended (or) not recommended to engage him/her on contract basis as per eligibility criteria, for every candidate and submit the information to this office by 10.2024 without fail
Any deviation found in the matter will be viewed seriously and action will be taken as per CCA Rules, 1991.
This item of work should be treated as MOST URGENT.
