SRI VENKATESWARA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (SVIMS UNIVERSITY) (A University established by an Act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature) ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-25 (Web-based counselling) For B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T. (Physiotherapy) & B.Sc. AHS (Paramedical) Courses 

Selection procedure for Admissions into B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T), B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical) courses will be conducted based on AP EAPCET-2024 rank (Bi.P.C Stream) duly followed by the SVIMS admission regulations.

Hence, all the candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T), B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical) courses have to appear for the AP EAPCET-2024 entrance examination as per the notification issued by the Convener, AP EAPCET-2024. SVIMS will receive the applications with the rank allotted by AP EAPСЕТ.

Eligibility:

 

a) The candidates for admission in to the UG courses offered should have passed Intermediate (10+2) with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English (core) / (elective) with aggregate of 45% marks from Board of Intermediate education or any other recognized board like AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS or other equivalent Board. 5% marks is relaxed for SC, ST & Backward class candidates in the above subjects.  

b) AP EAPCET 2024 Rank in the examination.  

Age Limit:  

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.  (Note:  The student who is aged 25 years and above have to be submit a declaration form at the time of joining.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING TO UG COURSES (B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T & B.Sc. AHS (Paramedical) 2024-25

 

There are two options for filling the online application.

• Option-2 : Applying through SVIMS website link: https://apsvimtpt.aptonline.in/OnlinePaymentPG/UI/HomePage. aspx

• Single application and application fee is sufficient for all the courses (BPT, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc. AHS (Paramedical)

• Fees can be paid through AP Online centres or Net banking through SVIMS website link.
• Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

Documents required :

The candidates are advised to keep the following documents / information readily before filling the application online.

1. Student Aadhar Card.
2. AP EAPCET-2024 rank card (Both hard copy & Soft copy )
3. AP EAPCET-2024 Hall Ticket.
4. Inter Marks Memo (Both hard copy & Soft copy )
5. SSC Certificate
6. Recent passport size Photo & signature of the student on white paper.
7. Mobile number & Alternative Mobile Number.
8. Valid E-mail ID
9. Recently obtained caste certificate i.e. BCA/BCB/BCC/BCD/BCE/SC/ST categories (Mandatory)*. (Both hard copy & Soft copy)
10. Study certificates from Class VI to Intermediate 2 nd year
11. Special category certificate for TTD/ SVIMS, EWS, NCC, CAP, PWD (Physically handicapped) if eligible.
12. For 15% unreserved seats, Residence certificate or equivalent (Those who belong to other than SVU / AU region) please refer clause (8. 4) in the prospectus.

How to apply :

1) Each document shall be scanned to the size less than 1 MB in PDF format

2) Fill all the details in the online application manually and upload the documents where ever applicable as per the requirement.

1. Enter Aadhaar Number & AP EAPCET-2024 Hall Ticket No. & Caste details etc. Pay the fee as mentioned above. The other data will be automatically captured i.e., Candidate name, Father name, Mother name, Rank, Score secured etc., from Board of Intermediate or AP EAPCET.
2. Other details like Candidate particulars such as Date of Birth (as per SSC), Gender, Category, Special category, Address, Study district details (Class VI to Intermediate) shall be filled manually as per the certificate.

3) Select the courses as per the priority

1. Based on the priority of courses selected by the candidate in the online application the web-based counselling will be done.
2. All the candidates (irrespective of their category) are eligible to exercise web-options and to take their choice of seat as per their merit.
3. It is not mandatory to select all the courses. If the candidate is not interested for some courses, they can choose "NOT OPTING IN 1^sT PHASE COUNSELLING" option for the courses not
4. After successful completion of the application , take a print out of both Fees receipt & Application abstract for future reference.
5. The Application proforma (prototype) and Application printout (prototype) are available for reference — Annexure I & II respectively.
