All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State is informed that the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India has informed that the PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) Scheme showcase the implementation of National Education Policy, 2020.

 

As per the directions during the PAB meeting of PM SHRI held on July 4, 2024, it is decided to nominate MEO-II as Nodal officer at the Mandal level and they shall be the responsible officers for monitoring the PM SHRI activities at the Mandal level. They should visit PM SHRI schools once a week to check the quality of work and other infrastructure facilities.

 

It is further informed that the MEO-II should monitor and ensure the saturation of the following facilities in all PM SHRI schools as per their school category (Primary/Elementary/Secondary/Senior Secondary).

 

Interventions

 

  1. Clean Drinking Water
  2. Fully functioning hand washing facility and toilets
  3. Girl’s toilets with facility of functional vending machine for sanitary pads and incinerators
  4. Furniture availability
  5. Fully equipped Integrated Science Lab/Physics Lab/Chemistry Lab / Biology Lab
  6. Internet Facility
  7. Computer Lab/ICT Lab
  8. Smart Classrooms
  9. Library with good furniture and diverse collection of books with computerized entry of issuing of the books
  10. Fully equipped Atal Tinkering Lab
  11. Fully equipped Skill Lab
  12. School Innovation Council
  13. School Principal/teachers participation in training programmes conducted by the state
  14. Playground with well-equipped sports facilities
  15. Guidance and career Counselling
  16. Organization of self- defence training sessions for girls
  17. Bala feature and Jadui Pitara for primary School children
  18. Issuance of ID cards to teachers and students
  19. Child tracking software for tracking the children attendance
  20. Functional Youth and Eco Club for Mission Life
  21. Use of TLM (Teaching and Learning Materials) in teaching.

Hence, it is requested to all the District Educational Offices and Additional Project Coordinators of S.S in the state are here by instructed to utilize the funds, monitor AND ensure the above facilities in all PM SHRI schools.
