ఫోన్ పే, పేటిఎం, అమెజాన్ పే వంటి థర్డ్ పార్టీ యాప్స్ను ఉపయోగించి విద్యుత్ బిల్లులు చెల్లిస్తున్నారా? అయితే ఈ నెల నుంచి విద్యుత్ బిల్లుల చెల్లింపులు చేయడం సాధ్యపడదు. క్రెడిట్ కార్డు బిల్లు చెల్లింపుల తరహాలోనే ఆయా యాప్స్ ఈ సేవలనూ నిలిపి వేయడమే కారణం. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో దక్షిణ తెలంగాణ విద్యుత్ పంపిణీ సంస్థ (TGSPDCL) సోమవారం ఆ మేరకు ప్రకటన చేయగా.. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ తూర్పు విద్యుత్ పంపిణీ సంస్థ సైతం (APEPDCL) తమ వెబ్సైట్ లేదా మొబైల్ యాప్ లోనే బిల్లుల చెల్లింపులు చేయాలని వినియోగదారులకు సూచించింది. ఆర్బీఐ మార్గదర్శకాలను అనుసరించి జులై 1 నుంచి ఆయా చెల్లింపు సంస్థలు విద్యుత్ బిల్లులు చెల్లింపులను నిలిపివేశాయని రెండు విద్యుత్ పంపిణీ సంస్థలు వెల్లడించాయి.
TGSPDCL APEPDCL మాత్రమే కాదు.. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లోని ఇతర డిస్కమ్లదీ అదే పరిస్థితి. TGNPDCL APSPDCL, APCPDCL పరిధిలోని బిల్లులు చెల్లించాలని ప్రయత్నించినప్పుడు భారత్ బిల్లు పేమెంట్ సిస్టమ్కు రిజిస్టర్ కాలేదని చూపిస్తోంది. దీనివల్ల పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో వినియోగదారులపై ప్రభావం పడనుంది. దీంతో ఆయా విద్యుత్ పంపిణీ సంస్థల పరిధిలోని వినియోగదారులు డిస్కమ్ వెబ్సైట్ లేదా మొబైల్ యాప్ను ఆశ్రయించాల్సిందే.
ఆర్ బీఐ ఏం చెప్పింది?:
బిల్లు చెల్లింపుల్లో సమర్ధత, భద్రతకు పెద్ద పీట వేసేందుకు రిజర్వ్ బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. బిల్లు చెల్లింపులన్నీ భారత్ బిల్ పేమెంట్ సిస్టమ్ (BBPS) ద్వారానే జరగాలని నిర్దేశించింది. జులై 1 నుంచి కొత్త నిబంధనలు తీసుకొచ్చింది. దీనిలో భాగంగా భారత్ బిల్ పేమెంట్ సిస్టమ్ను బిల్లర్లు ఎనేబుల్ చేసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ప్రైవేటు బ్యాంకులకు సంబంధించి హెచ్ఎఎఫ్ సీ, ఐసీఐసీఐ బ్యాంక్, యాక్సిస్ బ్యాంక్ వంటి ప్రధాన బ్యాంకులు ఈ పేమెంట్ సిస్టమ్ను యాక్టివేట్ చేసుకోలేదు. దీంతో ఫోన్ పే, క్రెడ్ వంటి కంపెనీలు కస్టమర్ల క్రెడిట్ కార్డుల బిల్లులను ప్రాసెస్ చేయలేవు. దీనివల్ల ఆయా యాప్స్ క్రెడిట్ కార్డు బిల్లుల చెల్లింపు వీలు పడదు. ఇప్పుడు విద్యుత్ బిల్లుల చెల్లింపుల విషయంలోనూ అదే జరిగింది.
