APPGCET 2024 Graduate Common Entrance Tests (Conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE)

Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appearing for the final semester (year) examination in the qualifying degree for entrance tests and admission into first year of various P.G. Courses (M.A., M. Com., M.Sc., MCJ, m. Lib.Sc., M. Ed., M.P. Ed., M.Sc.Tech etc)offered by Andhra Pradesh State funded Universities and their Constituent / Affiliated [Government and Private (Aided/Unaided)] Colleges including Minority Educational Institutions in the State.

The Entrance test will be conducted online through Computer Based Test (CBT).

APPGCET 2024 Registration Fee:

for a single Test is Rs. 850/- for OC, Rs. 750/- for BC candidates and Rs. 650/- for SC/ST/PH candidates. The fee may be paid at any AP online centers or through payment gateway (Credit/Debit Cards/ Net Banking). For submission of online application, visit the above websites.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు, వాటి అనుబంధ పీజీ కళాశాలల్లో పోస్టు గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ కోర్సుల్లో ప్రవేశాలు కల్పించేందుకు నిర్వహించే పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ కామన్ ఎంట్రన్స్ టెస్ట్ - 2024 (ఏపీ పీజీసెట్) షెడ్యూటీ ను ఏపీ ఉన్నత విద్యామండలి విడుదల చేసింది. రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో జరిగే ఈ ప్రవేశ పరీక్షను విశాఖపట్నంలోని ఆంధ్ర విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నిర్వహిస్తోంది. ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తు ప్రక్రియ ఏప్రిల్ 1న ప్రారంభమై మే 4న ముగియనుంది. ప్రవేశ పరీక్షలు జూన్ 10న ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి.

17 విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు.. 145కి పైగా కోర్సులు

ఏపీ పీజీసెట్ ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న 16 విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు, వాటి అనుబంధ పీజీ కాలేజీల్లో 145కి పైగా పీజీ కోర్సుల్లో ప్రవేశాలు పొందవచ్చు. పరీక్ష కంప్యూటర్ ఆధారిత (సీబీటీ) విధానంలో ఉంటుంది. రాతపరీక్ష(ఎంపీఈడీ మినహా)లో సాధించిన మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా ప్రవేశాలు కల్పిస్తారు. యూనివర్సిటీ వారీగా.. అందుబాటులో ఉన్న సీట్లలో 85% శాతం సీట్లు స్థానిక విద్యార్థులకు కేటాయిస్తారు. పీజీసెట్ మూడు కేటగిరీల వారీగా నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. కేటగిరీ-1లో ఆర్ట్స్, హ్యూమానిటీస్, సోషల్ సైన్సెస్; కేటగిరీ- 2లో కామర్స్ అండ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్, కేటగిరీ-3లో సైన్స్ సబ్జెక్ట్బులకు సంబంధించి పరీక్ష నిర్వహిస్తారు.

పరీక్ష వివరాలు: పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ కామన్ ఎంట్రన్స్ టెస్ట్ - 2024 (ఏపీ పీజీ సెట్)

పీజీ కోర్సులు: ఎంఏ, ఎంకాం, ఎంఎస్సీ, ఎంసీజే, ఎంఎల్ఎ బీఎస్సీ, ఎంఈడీ, ఎంపీఈడీ, ఎంఎస్సీటెక్ తదితరాలు.

అర్హత: సంబంధించిన సబ్జెక్టులతో బ్యాచిలర్ డిగ్రీ ఉత్తీర్ణత లేదా చివరి ఏడాది పరీక్ష రాస్తున్నవారు అర్హులు.

పరీక్ష ఫీజు: జనరల్ కేటగిరీలకు రూ.850; బీసీలకు రూ.750; ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, దివ్యాంగులకు రూ.650. పరీక్ష విధానం: లాంగ్వేజ్ స్పెషలైజేషన్ పేపర్లు మినహా మిగతా అన్ని ప్రశ్న పత్రాలు ఇంగ్లిష్ మాధ్యమంలో ఉంటాయి. పరీక్ష కంప్యూటర్ ఆధారంగా ఆన్లైన్ విధానంలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. ప్రశ్నపత్రం ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ పద్ధతిలో ఉంటుంది. పరీక్ష 300 నిముషాల వ్యవధితో 100 మార్కులకు జరుగుతుంది. నెగెటివ్ మార్కులు లేవు. అభ్యర్థి దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న సబ్జెక్టు సంబంధించి డిగ్రీ సిలబస్ నుంచి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు.
