In view of the upcoming General Elections and the model code of conduct which is in operation, the following guidelines are issued for strict compliance by the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators, Headmasters and Engineering personnel.
- Ongoing Nadu Nedu works will be continued. However No new work (Schools) shall be taken up.
- Acrylic Boards with MBNN details which are not fixed till date should not be fixed and should be stored in a safe place. Acrylic Board (display) which are already fixed should be properly covered with white paper or paper with neutral colors.
- Drinking Water Systems images of stickers displaying political figures should be completely covered with white stickers. Similarly, Any photos/images/logos of any political party on any MBNN assets shall be covered fully making them nonvisible.
Tabs:
i. The Navaratnalu logo on the Tabs should be covered with a white sticker.
ii. For ACER TABS, the company has provided a system of removing the Boot logo which appears during the tab boot-up. Detailed instructions are issued to remove the boot logo and same be followed.
iii. For Samsung tabs, boot logo removal mechanism is being developed by the company and instructions will be issued once the process is ready.
Hence all the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators should ensure that these guidelines are communicated to all concerned and followed in letter and spirit.
