The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the references cited and they are informed that in the reference 1st cited, Government of A.P have accorded permission to upgrade 294 Government High Schools into High School Plus for girls i.e., Junior Colleges exclusively for girls in every mandal duly advising to offer only two courses based on local requirements instead of 03 groups in M.P.C., BI.P.C & C.E.C @ 40 students to each group from the academic year 2022- 23 with an aim to promote the status of girl child in the society as well as incentivize girls education through various schemes and programs.
DEPLOYMENT OF REQUIRED PGT EQUIVALENT TEACHERS:
"Instead of any promotions or creation of a new cadre within the School Education Department, the required PGT equivalent teachers shall be deployed by the upgrading vacant SGT posts and providing one increment to the existing School Assistants with Post-Graduate Qualifications.
Accordingly, 1752 qualified School Assistants can be deployed to work in the 294 Government Junior Colleges by providing them one increment."
Accordingly, the CSE, A.P have accorded permission to all the District Educational Officers in the state to deploy the 1746 School Assistants with Post Graduate Qualifications as Post Graduate Teachers in 253 High School Plus in first phase, but there are only 1515 School Assistants have been joined and working as PGTs in 253 High School Plus.
Further, there are numerous representation received from the certain teachers who are teaching inter classes in High School Plus with a request to sanction one increment as per G.O.Ms.No.124 School Education (Prog-1) Dept., Dated: 07.07.2022.
In this regard, all the District Educational officers are requested to give instructions to concerned Headmasters in their jurisdiction to provide one increment to School Assistants working as PGTs in High School Plus those who have not sanctioned one increment as per G.O.MS.No. 124, dated: 07.07.2022 till now for taking further necessary action in the matter.
