The attention of all District Education Officers in the state is invited reference read above, The government of Andhra Pradesh has giving utmost priority on implementation jagananna Gorumudda. Nearly 35 lakhs children are getting benefitted in 44000 schools daily duly availing jagananna Gorumuddda.
Further, the Programme Approval Board(PAB) appreciated that, certain good practices are following in Andhra Pradesh viz., provision of hot cooked meals to the students of 9th and 10th classes form its own resource, additional honorarium to cook cum helpers in addition to the classes form I to VIII., in performance of data entry in MIS etc., " at the same time advised to conduct Social Audit as per scheme guidelines i.e., at least 20 schools or 2% schools, whichever is higher in every district.
Accordingly the Director, MDM is decided to conduct Social Audit in 520 schools (20 schools from each district) in entire state. Work order has been issued to APSSAAT to conduct the social audit in all 26 districts in the state form 29.12.2023.
In view of the above, All the District Educational Officers (DEOS) in the state is requested to issue necessary instructions to Mandal Educational Officer, Head Masters and other field functionaries to assist the APSSAAT team in providing information/records while conducting social audit
