PM SHRI Schools Activities Implementation Instructions Samagra Shiksha, A.P., - SIEMAT - PM SHRI Schools - Implementation of the activities under the PMSHRI approved schools in first phase - Instructions - issued Rc.No.SS-15022/80/2022-SAMO-SSA, Dt: 06/10/2023

 

Ref:- D.O.No.1-8/2023-IS-19, dt.19.09.2023 of the Additional Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, New Delhi.

 

All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are here by informed that the Govt. of India has approved 662 schools as PMSHRI in the 1st round for Andhra Pradesh to develop as schools of excellence in which every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experience are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resource conductive to learning are available.

 

As per the request of the Govt. of India, they are requested to implement the following activities in PMSHRI schools.

  • Whitewashing & Minor Repairs of PM SHRI Schools.
  • To clean toilets for girls/boys, Ramps with railing & Friendly toilets for CWSN, clean and potable drinking water facility with working taps and functional and clean hand wash area.
  • Dustbins for Biodegradable and Non-biodegradable waste and segregation, Adequate number of LED Lights/Lamps in the school.
  • School plan for Disaster Management preparedness, Written safety norms displayed in all laboratories.
  • School to display Learning Outcome and BaLa (Building as Learning Aid) features in School Premises.
  • School to conduct Monthly Parent Teacher Meetings.
  • School to have facility to upload data on PRABANDH, UDISE+, VSK and Holistic Report Cards.
  • Annual Calendar of activities to be done by School.
  • Preparation of Teacher Learning Materials by SCERTs/DIETs, Preparation of integrated lesson plans by teachers.
  • The school in consultation with CRC/BRC/DIET/Regional office, conduct staff development and Capacity building programmes for teachers.

Hence, they are requested to furnish the above information in the prescribed Proforma (annexure) on or before 10-10-2023.
