Samagra Shiksha, AP - SIEMAT - Requesting to depute School Teachers for one year Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling (DCGC)- 2024 - Requested - Regarding. Rc.No. SS-15021 /74/2023-SAMO-SSA, Dt: 20/10/2023
Ref: F.No.25.21/DEE/2023-24/RIEM dt:16.10.2023 of the Incharge Principal, Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Mysore.
All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are informed that, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has informed that the NCERT is offering a one year Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling (DCGC) through distance-cum-face-to-face mode for preparing teacher counselors for schools and allied settings. Teachers, teacher educators and other personnel from Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Jawahar Navodayala Vidyalaya (JNV), Sainik School and State Education Departments are eligible to apply for the course.
Hence, they are requested to identify and depute teachers who are willing and having genuine interest and motivation to act as teacher counselors. Interested teachers may be requested to download the application from the NCERT Website (www.ncert.nic.in) or from the Institute Website (www.riemysore.ac.in) and send their application duly forwarded by the Principal/Deputing Authorities online by clicking on the link www.ncert.nic.in/notice/circular-Diploma Course in Guidance & Counseling 2024, on or before 03rd November, 2023. The selection will be made through an entrance examination which will be held online. (The detailed information brochure enclosed).
