As part of phase II of MBNN Program, all Electrical, Tiles and Sanitary Ware are being procured as CPM items. Due to non-supply and delay in supply of the above mentioned CPM items in certain Districts, instructions were issued vide ref 1st to 9th cited, for purchase of Electrical items locally as per the prevalent SoR rates and permission was given for purchase of Sanitary and Tiles locally at SoR rates for certain Districts.
As new vendors are finalized for Electrical items, the permission for purchases of Electrical items issued earlier is withdrawn with immediate effect.
Similarly, the permission to purchase Tiles and Sanitary items locally is withdrawn with immediate effect.
District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators, District Vocational Educational Officers, Principals and Head Masters are advised to present the bills through STMS for the local purchases done so far for the above items on or before 31-07-2023. The option for presenting bills will not be available after the above date. Local purchases of all the above 3 items i.e Electrical items, -Sanitary items and Tiles are disallowed w.e.f. 25-07-2023. Hence, all the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators, Regional Joint Directors (CE) and District Vocational Educational Officers shall ensure that this circular reaches all the Head Masters and Principals in the Districts where Phase-II MBNN works are in progress. APCs may maintain the copy of served copies of this circular for future reference in their office.
