APTWREIS Regular Intermediate Admission Notification 2023-2024 Gurukulam has decided to take up admissions into First Year Intermediate for the academic year 2023-24 into (33) General Residential Colleges through marks merit basis in 10 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

2023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరమునకు గాను ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న (33) గిరిజన సంక్షేమ గురుకుల జూనియర్ కళాశాలలలో వివిధ గ్రూపులలో (MPC, BiPC, CEC, HCE & MEC) మరియు ఒకేషనల్ గ్రూప్స్ (A&T, CGA) నందు ఇంటర్మీడియట్ మొదటి సంవత్సరములో ప్రవేశమునకుగాను మార్చి 2022-23 విద్యా సంవత్సరములో SSC పాసైన గిరిజన, గిరిజనేతర విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థుల నుండి దరఖాస్తులు తేది. 12.05.2023 నుండి కోరబడుచున్నవి. పూర్తి వివరముల కొరకు www.aptwgurukulam.ap.gov.in ను చూడగలరు. ఇతర సందేహముల కొరకు ఆయా జిల్లాల కన్వీనర్ ప్రిన్సిపల్స్ ను సంప్రదించగలరు. దరఖాస్తులు దాఖలు చేయుటకు చివరి తేది: 31.05.2023.

Accordingly, the following guidelines are issued to take up the admissions process into Tribal Welfare Residential Colleges (29) and URiCs (04) for the academic year 2023-24.

ADMISSION COMMITTEE:

	Coordinator:	Deputy Director (TW) in ITDA Districts / DTWO in Non ITDA Districts.
	Convener:	Convener Principal of the District concerned. (Annexure-II)
	Members:	Principals of  remaining  RJCs/LJRJCs  in  the  District.
In Non-ITDA Districts	Chairman:	Joint Collector
	'Coordinator:	DTWO of concerned district
	Convener:	Convener Principal of the District concerned. (Annexure-II)
	Mem bers:	Principals of remaining RJCs/URJCs in the District.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• No PTG Student is denied of admission.
• The Project Officers of ITDAs/DTWOs Non-ITDAs districts should provide admission to the extent of sanctioned strength only.
• In case of extra seats required, POs of ITDAs & DTWOs of Non­ITDAs should send the proposals to the Secretary, Gurukulam for prior permission. Basing on the feasibility necessary orders will be issued.

UNIT OF ADMISSION:

• Concerned district is the unit of admission where Colleges are located
• In certain districts, there are no colleges. In this regard, © 5 seats in each group (general groups only) will be available for ST Students of such districts in the colleges of attached districts.

1. In case of RJC (PTG-B) Chittedu, only Yanadis from Nellore district are eligible.
2. Regarding Yanadis in Prakasam, Guntur, Chittoor Districts preference shall have to be given to the Yanadis in the colleges to which the districts attached.

RESERVATION OF SEATS:

Reservation of seats for other communities i.e,, SC/BC/OC/AEQ in APTWR Junior Colleges is as follows:

The candidates who have got admission under the category of Agency Employee Quota (AEQ) and having parental annual income more than one Iakh are not eligible for any kind of amenities. If they desires, diet will be provided on payment of actual amount of monthly per capita. However, they will be provided free accommodation.

If seats allotted to other categories i.e., SC, BC, OC and AEQ are found to be vacant they can be filled with available ST Students. Whereas seats allotted to STs can't be filled with other candidates even if they are vacant.

3% of seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped Tribal Students in all Gurukulam Institutions within the existing seats reserved for STs. If the Physically Handicapped Tribal Students are not available, these seats can be filled with other STs only.

(01) One seat is reserved for talented STs in Sports & Games in each group with valid certificate (National Level & State Level). If suitable student is not available then those seats will be filled with STs only

OC means - Open competition.

Reservation of seats for PTGs in all APTWR Colleges:

1. Reservation of seats for Primitive Tribal Groups in all APTWR
   Colleges Except at APTWR]C (B) Chittedu (which is meant for Yanadi) is mentioned in the annexure III.
2. In case the seats reserved for PTGs are vacant, they may be filled
   up with General ST students.

In case of any seats reserved for Paki Yanadis are not filled up, they may be filled up by Challa Yanadis and if still they are not filled, the seats may be kept open for all other Yanadis.

ANNUAL INCOME OF PARENT:

The Annual Income of the parent shall not be more than the income prescribed for the eligibility to Post Matric Schokarship i.e. Rs.1,00,000/- p.a. as per Rc.No.G.O.Ms.No.140, TW (Edri.II) Dept., Dated: 14.07.2008.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

As per the marks merit basis in the presence of the above committee for admissions into First Year Intermediate General ST R3CS.

A.press note may be given at the district level by the Project Officers / DTWOs in plain area about the number of seats available Group wise, location of Colleges, the procedure being adopted for allotment of seats to students. The selection shall be only on marks merit basis and there shall not be any other criteria for the selection of candidates. Selection of students shall be on the basis of marks merit only.

• The students so selected shall be allotted to individual Colleges according to the choice of the student as per the online applications.
• After receiving the merit lists from Colleges the Convener Principal shall circulate the file for entire admissions process to the Chair person of the Admissions Committee and get approval.
• The Convener Principal shall send call letters to the candidates as per the merit list and a press note shall also be issued to invite the candidates for counseling.
• Junior intermediate is the entry point for the General ST Colleges for the academic year 2023-24 (Particulars enclosed).
• The Convener Principals shall coordinate with Gurukulam Cell in charges of ITDA to conduct the admission process.
• The final selection list got to be signed by Chairman & Members of the

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONVENER PRINCIPAL:

He shall give publicity by sending copies of press note already issued by Head Office with counseling date to all the Govt., Municipal, ZP and ashram High schools in the district besides displaying on the Notice Boards of important Govt. Offices like ITDA, RDO, MPP, MRO etc.

• HCRs Principals are directed to motivate the students to join in APTWRJC/URK to fulfill 100% enrollment.
• The Convener Principal has to take latest position of seats according to Group wise Sanctioned strength from all the colleges in the district and submit the same to the Chairperson of the admissions committee for approval and to take up admission through marks merit on after completion of receiving of applications.
• At the time of admission collect the original certificates of SSC, TC, CC, Caste and income certificates etc., for necessary.
