Government vide reference 1st read above, accorded Administrative sanction approval for improving Infrastructure facilities in 22,344 Schools and other Educational institutions with a total budget outlay of Rs.8000 Crs, under Phase-II of Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Programme.
In this context, it is found that there is considerable delay in supply of certain electrical items particularly electrical conduit pipes and wires.
Hence it is instructed that if the indented Electrical conduit pipes and electric wires are not received by the Head masters within 15 days after giving readiness report in STMS portal, the Parent Committees are permitted to purchase locally not exceeding the SoR 22-23 rates. The quality parameters to be followed are enclosed in the annexure to their circular.
Hence all the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Co-orodinators and Executive Engineers of the concerned implementing agencies directed to strictly follow the instructions by the school committees at the time of implementation of the Nadu- Nedu Phase-II Program.

Except Furniture, Green Chalk Boards, Additional Class Rooms and Compound Walls all other components should be started by 10th April and all components including above have to be completed by 12th June 2023. All major and minor repairs to be completed by may15th invariably.
Hence all the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Co-orodinators and Executive Engineers of concerned implementing agencies are directed to ensure that the above instructions are followed without any deviation.

In this context, vide reference 2nd cited during the review meeting it is noticed that the indents placed by the Head masters and Field Engineers need to be verified and cleaned up.
All the indents available in STMS portal will be pushed back to DEEs logins except electrical, Roof and ceiling repairs. The Deputy Executive Engineers of concerned implementing agencies should inspect the Schools, verify the indents and upload the corrected indents in STMS Portal.
All the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators and Executive Engineers of concerned implementing agencies are directed to strictly follow the above instructions and ensure correction of indents by 13.04.2023.
