ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 18.04.2023 (Tuesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of SHAB-E-QADR.
2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board, Vijayawada has informed that as per moon sight, the Shab-e-Qadr falls on 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) instead of 18.04.2023 (Tuesday) as specified in calender and requested to change the optional holiday to 19.04.2023 on the occasion of SHAB-E-QADR instead of 18.04.2023, as declared earlier. 3. The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to change the Optional Holiday on the occasion of SHAB-E-QADR on 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) instead of 18.04.2023 (Tuesday). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh State-
NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.2692, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, dated 15.12.2022, wherein notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby declare 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of SHAB-E-QADR instead of 18.04.2023 (Tuesday).
