JOINT CSIR-UGC NET EXAMINATION DECEMBER-2022/JUNE-2023

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022 / June-2023 to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, as per details given below:

సైన్స్ విభాగాల్లో పరిశోధన, బోధనకు అవకాశం కల్పించే.. సీఎస్ఐఆర్ యూజీసీ నేషనల్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (నెట్) డిసెంబర్-2022/ జూన్-2023కు నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదలైంది. నేషనల్ టెస్టింగ్ ఏజెన్సీ (ఎన్ఐఏ) పరీక్ష నిర్వహించనుంది. సైన్స్ సబ్జెక్టుల్లో పరిశోధనలకు అవకాశం కల్పించే జేఆర్ఎఫ్ తోపాటు లెక్చరర్షిప్/ అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ అర్హతల కోసం నిర్వహించే పరీక్ష- సీఎస్ఐఆర్ యూజీసీ నెట్. ఈ పరీక్ష ద్వారా జేఆర్ఎఫ్ ఆర్హత పొందితే సీఎస్ఎస్ఐఆర్ పరిధిలోని రిసెర్చ్ సెంటర్లలో, విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లో పీహెడికి దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. లెక్చరర్షిప్ అర్హత పొందితే విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు లేదా డిగ్రీ కళాశాలల్లో అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్గా ఎంపికకావచ్చు.

జాయింట్ సీఎస్ఐఆర్- యూజీసీ నెట్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్ డిసెంబర్-2022/ జూన్ 2023 సబ్జెక్టు వివరాలు:

పరీక్షను అయిదు సబ్జెక్టుల్లో నిర్వహిస్తారు.

1. కెమికల్ సైన్సెస్

2. ఎర్త్, అట్మాస్ఫియరిక్, ఓషన్ అండ్ ప్లానెటరీ సైన్సెస్

3. లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్

4. మ్యాథమేటికల్ సైన్సెస్

5. ఫిజికల్ సైన్సెస్

అర్హత: కనీసం 55 శాతం మార్కులతో ఎమ్మెస్సీ తత్సమాన ఉత్తీర్ణులు/ నాలుగేళ్ల ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ బీఎస్ ఎంఎస్ / బీఈ/ బీటెక్/ బీఫార్మసీ/ - ఎంబీబీఎస్ ఉత్తీర్ణులు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఓబీసీ(ఎన్ సీఎల్), ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, థర్డ్ జెండర్, దివ్యాంగ అభ్యర్థులు అర్హత పరీక్షలో కనీసం 50శాతం మార్కులు పొందాలి.

వయసు: జేఆర్ఎఫ్ అర్హతకు సంబంధించి జనరల్ కేటగిరీ అభ్యర్థులకు 01.07.2022 నాటికి 28 ఏళ్లు మించకుండా ఉండాలి. ఎస్సీ/ ఎస్టీ/ దివ్యాంగులు/ మహిళ అభ్యర్థులకు అయిదేళ్లు.. ఓబీసీ (నాని క్రిమిలేయర్) లకు మూడేళ్ల గరిష్ట ఓబీసీ (నాన్ వయోసడలింపు లభిస్తుంది. అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్/ లెక్చరర్షిప్ కు ఎలాంటి గరిష్ట వయోపరిమితి నిబంధన లేదు.

పరీక్ష విధానం: పరీక్ష 200 మార్కులకు నిర్వహిస్తారు. కంప్యూటర్ బేస్డ్ టెస్ట్ విధానంలో పరీక్ష జరుగుతుంది. మల్టిపుల్ ఛాయిస్ ప్రశ్నల పద్ధతిలో పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. పరీక్ష వ్యవధి మూడు గంటలు. ప్రశ్న పత్రంలో మొత్తం మూడు విభాగాలు ఉంటాయి.

దరఖాస్తు రుసుము: జనరల్ అభ్యర్ధులకు రూ.1100, జనరల్ ఈడబ్ల్యూఎస్ / ఓబీసీ (ఎన్సీఎల్) రూ.550. ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీలకు రూ.275, థర్డ్ జెండర్ రూ.275, దివ్యాంగులకు ఫీజు చెల్లింపు నుంచి మినహాయింపు ఉంటుంది.

దరఖాస్తు విధానం: ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.

ఫీజు చెల్లింపు, ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తుకు చివరి తేదీ: 10.04.2023.

దరఖాస్తు సవరణ తేదీలు: 12.04.2023 నుంచి 18.04.2023 వరకు.

పరీక్ష తేదీలు: 6, 7, 8 జూన్ 2023.

CSIR-UGC NET 2023 Upper Age Limit (as on 01-07-2022):

JRF: Maximum 28 years as on 01/07/2022* {upper age limit may be relaxable up to
5 years in case of SC/ST/Third gender/Persons with Disability (PwD) / female
applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants}.
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

CSIR-UGC NET 2023 Eligibility Qualification:

For Joint CSIR- UGC NET December-2022/June-2023 Courses Essential Educational Qualifications:

M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and 50% (without rounding off) for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within two years from the date of declaration of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Test result, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

Such candidates will have to submit the attestation form duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared (Annexure- VIII).

B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS- PhD program with at least 55%^ (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS; 50%^ (without rounding off) marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply. Candidates with Bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. program within the validity period of two years. Candidates possessing only Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor. ^(without rounding off)

B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only. These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor. B.Sc. (Hons.) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply.

Specification of degrees (whether Bachelor’s or Master’s) as notified by UGC in its Gazette Notification No. F. 5-1/2013 (CPP-II) dated 5th July, 2014 and as amended from time to time, shall apply.

The eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. Ph.D. degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50%^ marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship/Assistant Professor only. ^(without rounding off)

Candidates belonging to the Third gender category are eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and Eligibility Criteria for NET (i.e. JRF and Assistant Professor) as are available to SC/ST categories. The subject-wise qualifying cut-offs for this category would be the lowest among those for SC/ ST/ PwD/ OBC–NCL / General-EWS categories in the corresponding subject.
