ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued the “Special Rules for Andhra Pradesh Mahila Police (Subordinate Service) Rules, 2021.
In the G.O. second read above, Government have prescribed clear and comprehensive Job Chart/Training syllabus to the Mahila Police. For better service deliver at the Village/ Ward level, it has been decided to assess their performance of duties by fixing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through Monthly Report by the Mandal/Ward level supervisory officer.
Accordingly, the following Key Performance Indicators are prescribed to assess performance of duties rendered by the Mahila Police:
(i). Number of day to day visits to Schools/Colleges/Anganwadi centres/Hostels.
(ii). Number of awareness campaigns held in Schools/Colleges/ Anganwadi centres/Hostels as regards
- Good touch - Bad touch.
- POCSO Act.
- Love traps and elopements.
- Disha APP.
- Social media frauds.
- Road Safety etc.
(iii). Number of child marriages prevented.
(iv). Number of Police related petitions received (Domestic Violence, Dowry harassment, Social evils, eve teasing, theft, cyber frauds, cheating, bodily offences etc.)
(v). Number of Police related petitions enquired upon and reported to SHO.
(vi). Number of actionable information's provided to SHO as regards
- potential issues having the tendency to convert into L&O issues.
- Social vices and anti-social activities in the area.
- Missing children/ missing women.
- Gulf migrating women - Information regarding responsible Agents/Human trafficking incidents.
- Harassment to girls/Women.
- Illicit liquor.
- Drug abuse.
- Ganja.
- Eve teasing.
(vii). Number of meetings held in the Village/ Ward with Village elders to seek involvement in reducing vulnerability of crime against women.
(viii). Number of awareness campaigns taken up in Village/ Ward
- Regarding Government programmes.
- Regarding Cyber Crime, loan apps, bank frauds.
- Regarding Road Safety.
- Regarding Dowry Prohibition Act, Laws against sexual harassment, POCSO Act etc.
- lokadalaths
- Any other campaign intended by Government, for the betterment of Society.
- Disha APP and Disha initiatives of the Government.
(ix). Number of Disha APP registrations taken up.
(x). Number of Village/Ward Secretariat meetings participated.
(xi). Maintenance of Movement Register.
(xii). Field visits in the Jurisdiction.
The Sub-Inspector of Police of Local Jurisdiction (Police Station) shall be the Mandal Supervisory Officer and assess the performance of Mahila Police in his/her Jurisdiction basing on the above Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The SHO of the concerned Jurisdiction of Ward Secretariat shall be the Supervisory Officer and assess the performance of Mahila Police in his/her Jurisdiction basing on the above Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He / She shall submit a monthly report to the Superintendent of Police concerned through proper channel. The prescribed format is annexed to this G.O.
The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Mangalagiri shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
