6.  From the Finance Department U.O.Note No.FINOI-HROPCTA /65/2022-PCTA(I 686291), dated 02.05.2022.

 

The 11th Pay Revision Commission has made certain recommendations on the allowances being paid to the Non-Teaching doctors working in Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department. The Finance Department in their U.O.Note 6th read above has requested this Department to issue orders on Health Care Allowances in HM&FW Department. Accordingly, Government hereby issue the following allowances to the Non-teaching doctors working in Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department.

The revised rates of NPPA shall be sanctioned, subject to the fulfilment of the following eligibility criteria, to the Doctors working in Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department:

 

he should not be in receipt of Emergency Health Care Allowance; 
he should have been prohibited from doing private practice;
he should not be covered by UGC pay scales.

 

PG Degree and Diploma Allowance:

The following revised rates of PG Degree and Diploma Allowance shall be sanctioned.

Tribal Allowance:

The Tribal Allowance shall be allowed at the enhanced rate of Rs.3500/- p.m. to male doctors and Rs. 4000/- p.m. to the female doctors posted in Tribal areas. The Rural Allowance sanctioned in G.O. Ms. No. 411, HM & FW (A2) Dept., dt: 5.11.2001 and Special Compensatory Allowance admissible to the employees working in Agency areas/ Hill Stations as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.6, Finance (TA) Dept., dt.12.1.2007 will not be admissible to such of the Doctors to whom Tribal Allowance is paid, to prevent grant of multiplicity of allowances of similar nature.

 

Rural Allowance:

The Rural Allowance shall be sanctioned at the increased rate @ Rs.2500/- p.m. in respect of the male doctors and Rs.3000/- p.m. for the lady Doctors working in PHCs and CHCs located in non-tribal rural areas. If the P.H.Cs / C.H.Cs located in Tribal Areas, then only Tribal Allowance would be admissible but not Rural Allowance or Special Compensatory Allowance separately.

 

The Director of Medical Education /Director Health & Family Welfare/ Director of Public Health / Commissioner, A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad/Commissioner, Ayush Department shall take further necessary action accordingly.

 

This order issue with the concurrence of the Finance department vide their U.O.No. FIN01-HROPCTA/136/2022-PC-TA, (Computer No: 1876341), Dated: 27.10.2022.
