Sub: School Education - 'PM Young Achievers' Scholarship Award scheme for a vibrant India (PM YASASVI) for the welfare of OBC, EBC and DNT Students Certain instructions issued - Regarding. 

Ref: Memo.No.1810557/A1/General/2022, Dt:12.08.2022 of the Government of AP.

While enclosing a copy of the letter together with its enclosures, all the Regional Joint Directors of school Education and the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that Under 'PM Young Achievers' Scholarship Award Scheme for a vibrant India (PM YASASVI) for the welfare of OBC, EBC and DNT students and they have shortlisted some reputed schools based on pass percentage in X and XII Exams under the scheme. The selection of students will be done through merit in the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) being conducted by National Testing Agency on 11.09.2022. The Application for registration of the test opening date from 27.07.2022 to 26.08.2022, through the web portal yet.nta.ac.in.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of school Education and the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to take appropriate action under their jurisdiction to give wide publicity of YASASVI Entrance Test in the shortlisted schools so that large number of students may appear in the examination.

Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) ENTRANCE TEST-2022

 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.

 

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India has formulated a scheme known as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to eligible candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S­NT) categories, (the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs) studying in Class IX and Class XI in identified Schools across India.

 

Selection of candidates for the award of scholarships under the scheme is through a written test called YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST.

 

NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST 2022. NTA will be conducting the YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST-2022 as per details given below.

Purpose	Exam for selection of candidates belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories, studying in Class IX and Class XI for award of scholarship for studying in Schools identified by the MSJ&E.
Mode of conducting the Exam	Computer Based Test(CBT)
Pattern of the Exam	Objective Type comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs)
Duration	3 hours
Medium	English and Hindi
Date of exam	11.09.2022(Sunday)
Exam cities	Exam will be held in 78 cities across India
Exam fee	Candidates are not required to pay any exam fee.

Submission of online application forms for the test	From 27.07.2022 to 26.08.2022( Upto 11.50 PM)

Mode of Examination:

 

YET 2022 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

 

Scheme of Examination:

The Exam will be of Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions.

NCERT Syllabus of Class 8^th for admission in class 9^th and NCERT Syllabus of Class 10^th for admission in class 11^th.
