All the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, AYUSH Department has decided to Introduce Yoga in the School Education System and create awareness among the School children on importance of Yoga in day to day life in collaboration with Buddha Yoga Foundation in 317 schools across the State. The yoga classes will be conducted free of cost by specially trained Buddha Yoga Health Instructors starting from 25th July 2022 throughout the academic year of 2022-2023. A total of 317 schools were identified by Buddha Yoga Foundation for conducting this program during AY 2022-23
Hence, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to issue necessary instructions to the concerned Head Masters to permit Yoga Trainers to conduct Yoga classes in 317 identified schools across the state. The training period is one hour, in the morning & in the evening without disturbance to the school,
Important Note: The Head Masters of Concerned schools are informed that, the nominated PET/ SA (PE) should act as Nodal Officer form department side to coordinate with the Yoga instructors, make all necessary arrangements for the yoga classes and take all necessary precautions in conducting Yoga classes in 317 identified schools across the state.
