ORDER:-
The attention of all the District Educational Officers and all the District Intermediate Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference 2nd read above, the Government had issued fnal Gazette Notifications relating to the restructuring of Districts and Revenue Divisions in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers and District Intermediate Educational Officers in the state are informed that as per the School Games Federation of Andhra Pradesh norms, the District level school games organizing secretaries are to be nominated by District Educational Officers from among the School Assistants (Physical Education) based on their service rendered, qualifications and interest in conducting school games.
The tenure of the post of District School Games Secretary is two (2) years. The district school game secretary has to work from O/o District Educational Officer whenever their services are required for school games activities. If there is no school games activities he has to attend school without fail. With respect to the work done in relation to conduct of School Games, the District school games secretary has to submit Work done report and obtain attendance certifcate from District Educational Officer and submit to secretary SGF AP O/o CSE without fail. During the rest of the period the SA-PE has to continue his regular duties in the school where he/ she is posted.
As per the SGF norms, the criteria for nominating district level school games secretaries are as follows:
- The senior most willing SA-PE in School Education for Under 14 & 17 years and Lecturer in Physical Education for Junior Colleges must be nominated for Under 19 years.
- Preference should be given to SA (PE) working in Government / Zilla Parishad Schools for Under 14 & 17 years, whereas under 19 the preference should be given to Govt. Jr./APSWR/Aided Jr. Colleges.
- The tenure of the School Games Secretaries is 2years. The services of those who have completed their 2years tenure shall be terminated as District School Games Secretaries.
- Those who are going to be retired below 2 years are not eligible to nominate the District School Games Secretary.
- The SA (PE) who is likely to get promotion within two months as Head Master / MEO / Lecturer in DIET / RIPE shall not be considered.
- In case a selected District School Games Secretary gets promoted as HM / MEO / RIPE, immediately he / she shall be replaced with another SA (PE) duly selected as per the procedure prescribed
- Any SA (PE) / Lecturer in Physical Education who has already two terms worked as District School Games Secretary earlier cannot be nominated again.
- Any person under the Disciplinary action initiated by the concerned authorities, is not eligible for appointment as a District School Games Secretary.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers and District Intermediate Educational Officers in the state are requested to nominate the district school games Secretaries for under 14, 17 for School Education and under 19 for Intermediate Education immediately in place of existing district school games secretaries who have completed two (2) years term, duly following the above norms / procedures and furnish the list of SA (PE) / PETs nominated to this office on or before 30th June, 2022.
There shall not be any deviation from the above norms and procedures.
