LPCET - 2021 COUNSELLING SCHEDULE FOR 1st PHASE

All the Principals of DIETs in the state are informed that the schedule for conduct of counseling for LPCET-2021 for Phase-I is as follows:

The detailed guidelines for verification of certificates of the LPCET­2021 allotted candidates as said below.

Age:

The candidates should have completed 19 years as on 01-07-2021. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications:

I. Telugu Pandit:

B.A. (Telugu Literature)

or
B.A. (Oriental Language - Telugu)

or
B.O.L. in Telugu

or

Bachelor Degree with Telugu as one of the optional

subjects

or

MA (Telugu)

Hindi Pandit:

B.O.L. in Hindi
or
Bachelor Degree with Hindi as one of the optional
subjects
or
Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachara Sabha
or
Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad
or
Any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi
(BA Standard)
or
MA (Hindi)

• The candidates should have secured a rank in LPCET­2021. The minimum marks in LPCET-2021 are 35 for OC & BC candidates and no minimum marks for SC, ST candidates.

	FEE structure	As per the norms fixed by the Government. If the candidate claims exemption of Tuition Fee, verify the relevant documents i.e., Income Certificate of parents issued by competent authority for SC & ST candidates whose income is less than Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum from all sources and Rs.1,00,000/- in respect of BC candidates who claiming exemption of Tuition Fee. The validity of Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar/Deptity Tahsildar shall be for a period of Four (4) Years from the date of issue. 2. No Govt., Department selecting BPL beneficiaries shall ask for Income certificate as long as beneficiary produces White Ration Card. (As per G.O.Ms.No.186 Revenue (SER.II) Dept dated 26.05.2015 ) The Candidates who availed fee reimbursement for Professional    studies previously are not eligible for reimbursement.
4	Caste Certificate	Integrated caste certificate issued by Tahsildar is only to be accepted.
5	CAP (Children of Armed Personal)	CAP certificates should be verified by the District Sainik Welfare Officer. The Principals are requested to collect the CAP certificates from the candidates called for verification on all dates and depute one lecturer to the District Sainik Welfare Office of their concerned districts on the last date of verification for that District for verification. Final admission letter for all these candidates is to be given on the last day of counseling in each phase.
6	PHC	VI - 40% and above are eligible HI - 75 decibels and above are eligible OH - 40% and above are eligible
7	Local Candidates	Rule 7 of G.O.No.29, dated 29.03.2007
8	NCC	NCC "B/C"     certificate possessed candidates are eligible
9	Scouts      and Guides	President Certificate Scouts and Guides are only eligible
10	Sports      and games	Candidate must have represented the Country, the State' etc., are eligible (shall be verified by District Sports Authority)
11	instruction General	1. Candidate shall only produce original Certificates. No         candidate shall    be      allowed    to      produce    any xerox copies etc., for verification. 2. Make necessary arrangements for counseling from 09.00 AM sharply on all the counseling days and also make arrangements for drinking water,, computer,   furniture,    generator,    Internet      facility' etc., at the verification center.  3. Not to give Admission Letter until and unless they satisfy the genuinely of the Certificates produced by the candidates and payment of Fees and conduct verification of certificates transparently.

12	COVID-19 Safety instructions	i. The basic preventive measures include simple public health measures that are to be followed to reduce the risk of infection with COVID-19. Hence these following measures shall compulsorily be observed by all Students at all times: a.  Physical distancing of at least one meter to be followed at all times. b.  Carry / use of face covers / masks are mandatory. c.  Use of alcohol based hand sanitizers. d. Respiratory etiquettes shall be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one's mouth and nose while coughing / sneezing with a tissue I handkerchief / flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly. e.  Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest. II. Use of Aarogya Setu App will be mandatory. The Aarogya Setu dashboard must show Candidate's Risk Factor as "Safe" or "Low Risk" to be allowed inside the venue. ii. Those candidates with "Moderate" or "High Risk" may not be allowed. iv. In case of candidate with parent, both the candidate and the parent must bring their on face masks.

necessary arrangements accordingly for verification of certificates of the Candidates who got allotted seats through LPCET 2021.They are further requested to follow the rules in force issued by the competent authority from time to time in the matter and any deviation shall be viewed seriously.

The LPCET Committee has decided to pay the amounts towards remuneration and stationery to the Govt. DIETs., for conduct of verification of certificates as detailed below:
