SHRESHTA NETS 2022 National Entrance Test for Residential Education for Students in High Classes Inviting Online Applications for National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS))-2022
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has entrusted the responsibility of conducting National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS))- 2022.
Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) provides for high quality education for meritorious Scheduled Castes (SCs) students only, in CBSE-affiliated reputed residential schools. Approximately 3,000 seats would be provided in class 9th and 11th fully funded by the Central Government.
The National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA (NETS) will be an offline test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for selecting SC students for admission in Class 9 and 11 whose parental annual income is up to ₹ 2.5 lakh. There is no fee for the examination.

The National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA (NETS) will be an online test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for selecting students for admission in Class 9 and 11. There is no fee for the examination.

Date of exam:
- 7th May 2022
- Entrance examination will be conducted in all States/UTS
- Both in English/Hindi medium
Eligibility:
- Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, studying in class 8th and 10th in the current academic year (2021-22)
- Parent's annual income is up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs
- Willing and eligible SC students may register themselves through online portal https://shreshta.nta.nic.in free of cost.
- Portal would be open from 11 am. on 14th March to 14th April 2022
Result and admission:
- Result of the exam would be declared by 20th May.
- Web counselling for admission would be done 21st May to 30th May

శ్రేష్ఠ పథకం ద్వారా అత్యున్నత విద్యకు ఆహ్వానం 9,11 తరగతులలో ప్రవేశాలు
దరఖాస్తుకు ఏప్రిల్ 12 తుది గడువు
శ్రేష్ఠ (స్కీం ఫర్ రెసిడెన్సియల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ ఫర్ స్టూడెంట్స్ ఇన్ హయ్యర్ క్లాస్స్ ఇన్ టార్గెటెడ్ ఏరియాస్ ) ద్వారా భారత ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిభావంతులైన షెడ్యూల్డ్ కులాల విద్యార్థులకు సిబిఎస్ఇ అఫిలియేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్సియల్ స్కూల్స్ నందు పూర్తి ఉచితముగా అత్యున్నత ప్రమాణాలతో కూడిన విద్యని అందిస్తుందని సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ శాఖ ప్రత్యేక కార్యదర్శి గంధం చంద్రుడు తెలిపారు. ఈ పథకం ద్వారా దేశవ్యాప్తముగా ౩౦౦౦ మంది విద్యార్థులకు 9 వ తరగతి, 11 వ తరగతిలో ప్రవేశం కోసం అవకాశం కలిపించడం జరుగుతుందన్నారు.. షెడ్యూల్డ్ కులాల విద్యార్థుల డ్రాప్ అవుట్ రేట్ ను నియంత్రించే ప్రయత్నం లో భాగముగా అర్హులైన విద్యార్థులకు ఈ అవకాశం ఉపకరిస్తుందని గంధం చంద్రుడు తెలిపారు.
9 వ తరగతి లో అడ్మిషన్ పొందిన విద్యార్థులు 11 వ తరగతి వరకు, 11 వ తరగతి లో అడ్మిషన్ పొందిన విద్యార్థులు 12 వ తరగతి వరకు విద్యాబ్యాసం చేస్తారని, 12 వ తరగతి తరువాత పోస్ట్ మెట్రిక్ ఉపకార వేతనం పథకం, టాప్ క్లాస్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ పథకం ద్వారా ఉన్నత విద్యని అభ్యసించేందుకు అవకాశం లభిస్తుందన్నారు. https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/ వెబ్ లింక్ ద్వారా పథకం మార్గదర్శకాలు లభ్యం అవుతాయని, https://shreshta.nta.nic.in/. వెబ్ లింక్ ద్వారా అర్హులైన విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థులు ఏప్రిల్ 12 లోపు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలని సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ శాఖ ప్రత్యేక కార్యదర్శి గంధం చంద్రుడు సూచించారు.
