Government is determined to facelift all the
schools in the state for improving quality Education to children by improving the
infrastructure in all Govt schools in the state. In the G.0 1st
read above, Government have accorded administrative approval for taking up the basic
infrastructure works with nine components in all the Government schools under Mana Badi
Nadu-Nedu programme
in a period of 3 years. Out of total 44,512 schools in the state, 15,715 schools have been covered in Phase-I
Nadu-Nedu programme.

In the letter 3rd read above, the Commissioner of School
Education, A.P,
has stated
that, in the DPR submitted to NABARD during the month of September, 2021, (3,828) school projects were
identified. The original number of school projects proposed to NABARD are revised and
reduced from 3828 schools
to 3705 schools, of which 2774 schools are originally proposed, 931 number of new High School Projects are added
and the total project cost is revised to Rs.312823 lakhs, from Rs.253896.22 lakhs
actually approved. The NABARD approval is needed for the revised list of 3705
projects. Therefore, the CSE has requested the Government to accord sanction
and the Administrative Approval for an amount of Rs.312823 lakhs for Providing
class rooms and additional
infrastructure under Nadu Nedu components in 3705 High Schools under NABARD RIDF XXVII program.

In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of
School Education,
A.P, in the
letter 3rd read above, Government after careful
examination of the matter,
hereby accord Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs,2538.96 Cr for 3199
schools i.e 1378 crores for providing additional class rooms to 1196 schools and Rs.1161 crores for providing
additional class rooms and additional infrastructure under Nadu Nedu components to 2003 schools,
under NABARD RIDF
XXVII program, revising the number of ACRs per school based on the realistic requirement.

The Commissioner of School Education, A.P., is therefore,
requested to take
further necessary action accordingly, in the matter.
