The attention of the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are invited to the ref 4th cited and it is informed that the clarification issued in point 11 of ref 4th cited is modified and communicated herewith as follows:
Clarification Sought: If a parent have 03 children is he eligible to participate in election to contest as member or chairperson
Previous clarification : Yes Rule 19 (iv) 4 (g) Parents/guardians having children in different classes shall be eligible to participate in the election process of each class
Revised clarification : As there are no specific rules existing regarding the eligibility of parents having 03 children for participating in the elections to Parents Committees, the process followed in earlier elections may be followed.
Hence all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
