The attention of all the Municipal Commissioners of ULBS (where Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Phase-I is taken up in Schools) to the reference 1 cited, wherein the Government has issued certain instructions for improving Infrastructure facilities in schools. Basing on that 777 schools were allotted to the MA & UD Department for the execution of works and the same were successfully completed in all the ULB's.
In the reference 2nd cited, the Government has issued Orders to implement the Program Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Phase-II through parent's committees for upgrading the infrastructure in schools. Further, it is to inform that in view of certain reforms being introduced as per the NEP-2020(National Education Policy) in School Education and bringing PP-1 and PP-2(Pre-primary-1&2) children of Anganwadi Centers to Primary Schools and Upper Primary Schools. Accordingly, the School Education Department has revised the schools selected under Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Phase-II and furnished to this office (enclosed as Annexure-I) with request to confirm the said schools list deifying the schools covered in Phase-I & II.
In the reference 3rd cited, the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education has convened a State Level meeting with all line departments on 25.08.2021, requested to verify the schools and finalize the proposed list as per the guidelines. The categories of schools as per NEP 2020 are given in Annexure-II
Therefore, all the Municipal Commissioners of ULBS (wherein the Municipal Schools are existing) are directed to visit the schools which are covered in the list enclosed as Annexure-I and finalize the schools list. If there are any issues noticed in the proposed schools relating to the sanctioned components etc., and send the necessary remarks and suggest another school from the same ULB in the said list duly following the guidelines mentioned while categorizing the schools for the implementation of NEP 2020. The final list of schools along with remarks to submit duly signed by the Commissioners of concerned ULB's.
Further, all the RDMA's in the state are requested to guide the Commissioners in their region in this regard and ensure the above directions are complied with by the Commissioner DARIYA he state without any deviation.
