ORDER:
To have more synergy of resource mobilization with Finance Department, Government have decided to transfer the subject matter of "Commercial Taxes, Registrations and Stamps", which is currently under the control of Revenue Department to the Finance Department and all the related Heads of Departments and autonomous organizations like Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Director & Inspector General, Registrations & Stamps and A.P.VAT Appellate Tribunal at Visakhapatnam etc., are also attached to the Finance Dept., henceforth.
Accordingly, Government hereby transfer the subjects of "Commercial Taxes" and "Registrations and Stamps" from Revenue Department to Finance Department along with the related Heads of Departments and Autonomous Organization i.e., Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Director & Inspector General, Registrations & Stamps and A.P.VAT Appellate Tribunal at Visakhapatnam.
In Finance Department, the above subjects will be looked after by Sri Gulzar, Secretary, Finance Department and overall supervision and control of Sri S.S.Rawat, Principal Finance Secretary (PFS), Finance Department.
Necessary amendment to the Second Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Government Business Rules, 2018 will be issued separately.
The Revenue Department and Finance Department shall take necessary action accordingly.
