ORDER:
Government hereby issue the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh (Grama Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi / Ward Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi) Subordinate Service Rules, 2019 issued in G.O.Ms.No.126, Home(Legal-II) Dated:01.10.2019 as subsequently amended from time to time.
Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in an Extra- ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to Andhra Pradesh (Grama Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi / Ward Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi) Subordinate Service Rules, 2019 issued in G.O.Ms.No.126, Home(Legal-II) Dated:01.10.2019 as subsequently amended:
AMENDMENT
1. In the said G.O. Wherever the designation “Grama Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi / Ward Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsi”, occur, it shall be substituted with “Mahila Police”. They are part of Police Department.
2. In the said rules,
In rule 8, after sub-rule (2), the following shall be inserted:
“Mahila Police will be given required training as in Vogue”.
3. After rule 15, the following shall be inserted as rule:
16. Mahila Police will be given same uniform as given to lady Constables.
17. Mahila Police will be given same authorities & power under different acts, that have been given to Constables.
18. Mahila Police will be the representative of nearest Police Station for the village.
19. Additional Head Constable posts will be created for promotional posts for Mahila Police.
20. Necessary modification will be made in the existing Act/new Act.
