4) Circular YSR AHCT/Operations/COVID/2020. Dated: 20.10.2020
In view of the pandemic situation due to COVID -19 in the state, as per recommendations made by technical committee in the references cited, Dr YICT is implementing Day wise packages for COVID-19 treatment under Dr YSR Aarogyasti scheme from 20.07.2020.
The Trust has got complaints that few network hospitals are forcing the COVID-19 patient to stay at the hospital for complete length of stay i.e. 10 days and 14 days repectively for claiming total Package amount, even after early recovery of the patent. Hence A All the Network Hospitals should note that above mentioned Length of Stay is not mandatory and are instructed to discharge the COVID-19 patients, who recovered earlier, irrespective of above said length of stay and in such cases, NWHS should claim only for actual length of stay by providing all clinical evidences at the time of claims initiation.
