ORDER:
Sri. T.Raja Sekhar, School Assistant (English), ZPHS, Akumalla, Sajjamala Mandal, Kurnool District made a representation for consideration of effecting transfers, by awarding the points 0.5 "points for every completed year of completed service in the present cadre only" as on 1st October, not for the total service in all categories by them. As the total service can be considered, promoted School Assistants got more points than the direct recruits of School Assistants by virtue of their seniority in the cadre of SGT.
Government have issued orders vide reference 2nd read above in No.6 (iv) "For the service rendered: 0.5 points for every year of completed service in the total service in all categories as on 01st October of the year in which transfers are to be taken up.
In this connection, I am to inform that Government vide G.O.Ms.No.54 dated 12-10-2020 at point 6(iv) have issued points to total service and not service points in the cadre. Accordingly, total service rendered by the teachers shall be taken into consideration for awarding service points. Moreover, the SGTS who are qualified may be considered for promotion basing on their seniority only. They may get promotion after completion of several years in the cadre of SGT. Therefore, considering the completed service in the present cadre only instead of total service le in all categories is not feasible.
In view of the above and also in obedience to the orders passed by the Hon'ble High court in WP.No.19368 of 2020, Sri. T.Raja Sekhar, School Assistant (English), ZPHS, Akumalla, Sajjamala Mandal, Kurnool District is hereby informed that his representation is considered and examined carefully and his request for awarding the points i.e., 0.5 point for every completed year of service in the present cadre only instead of total service is not feasible and rejected.
