School Education - COVID-19 - Certain instructions issued with regard to placement of First Aid Kit, Medical equipments and Fire extinguisher (s) in all Schools under all Managements - Regarding Rc.No.151/A&I/2020, Dated:11/11/2020
Ref:-Instructions of the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education in the APCs review meeting held on 06.11.2020.
The attention of the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are invited to the reference cited, wherein the Government have issued instructions that, a) every school under all managements shall have a First Aid Kit with appropriate un-expired medicines & other important emergency medical devices and b) Fire extinguisher (s) as per the fire safety norms. The above items must be kept in a conspicuous place and given wide publicity. Further, the above expenditure shall be met with in their budget allocation/provision available (School Composite Grant etc..)
Therefore, the RJDSEs and DEOs are requested to take immediate necessary action in co-ordination with the Medical and Fire Department to standardize the content and price of the kit under the chairmanship of Joint Collector (Development) concerned and supply the First Aid Kits, Medical Devices and Fire Extinguisher (s) to all the Schools (Govt. Management). The Private & Aided Schools shall also to comply the above instructions scrupulously keeping in view of the guidelines/Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) issued by the GoI and other departments for COVID-19 from time to time.
