Sub: Samagra Shiksha, SIEMAT - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) - Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2020 - on DIKSHA platform - participation of students from class 8 to 10 - certain instructions - issued.

All the Regional Directors, District Educational Officers and Additional Project coordinators of Samagara Siksha in the state are here by informed that as per the subject and reference cited above, Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) was initiated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to enhance mathematical abilities among students in the year 2019.
Further, it is informed that the CBSE will host the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge on DIKSHA platform from 12th November 2020 to 25th November 2020. The Students from class 8 to 10 irrespective of the Board are eligible to participate in this challenge by joining into the “Aryabhata Ganit Challenge - 2020” course on DIKSHA Platform with this links: in English- http://bit.ly/AGCE_2020 and in Hindi: http://bit.ly/AGCH_2020 .
The students can engage with a fun video on Algebra and reading material on Srinivas Ramanujan, one of India’s greatest Mathematicians. Additionally, students can attempt the Aryabhata Ganit Practice set to build some confidence in answering real-life context problems before attempting the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge - 2020. Detailed guidelines, instructions to the students on accessing the course on computer, mobile app and participation certificates AGC-2020 are given in Annexure – 1, 2 , 3 & 4. Hence, all the Regional Joint Directors, District Educational officers and Additional Project Co-ordiantors of Samagra Shiksha in the state are requested to communicate guidelines to all the Headmasters / Principals of their respective schools in their districts to encourage the students of classes 8 to 10 and ensure maximum students to participate in the AGC 2020 as per the schedule.
This is should be treated as priority item.
