HMs, Teachers attending to School w.e.f 13.07.2020 Guidelines Rc. 145 dt.05.07.20

ORDER:
     In continuation of these office proceedings issued in the reference 1st read above, the following instructions are issued for necessary compliance. www.gsrmaths.in

All the Regional Joint Director of School Education and District Educational officers are requested to issue the following instructions to all the headmasters and staff:

a. All the Headmasters and Teachers of Primary, Upper Primary and High schools have to complete the updating of the UDISE+ data and updating all the Registers on or before 10th July 2020.

b. All Headmasters and teaching and non teaching staff of those schools where Nadu Nedu works have been taken up in Phase-I shall have to continue to attend the school. The Headmasters of the concerned schools have to distribute the work among the staff in such a manner that all (9) components of the works are entrusted to each teacher and the said teacher shall be fully responsible for timely and proper completion of the works taken up under Nadu Nedu by 31-7-2020. While distributing the work, teachers in containment zones, teachers chronic diseases, visually impaired be exempted. suffering from and physically handicapped may be exempted.

c. Further all headmasters including those schools where Nadu Nedu works are taken up shall have to draw up:

I. school development plan in consultation with PC concerned and
II. the academic plan for carrying out bridge courses and other hi tech, low tech and no tech strategies to engage the children academically till the schools are reopened.

These strategies include:
i. In case of primary schools, implementing the bridge course material already distributed to the children in the month of June, 2020 and attending to the monitoring of their student performance once in every week.

ii. In case of Upper Primary and High Schools, such bridge course material be prepared both online and offline and distributed to the students and to ensure that the students attend to them from their home.

ii. Distributing the library books to the students at their homes and children may be encouraged to circulate it among them at their homes and complete reading as many books as possible before the schools are reopened and bring them back once the schools are reopened.

iv.Giving the students project work based on the syllabii they have completed during 2019-20 for eg., children that would join class IX this year may be given project work based on class VIII syllabus and encourage them to explore the content of the topic thoroughly.

v. Wherever the children have online devices (computers, net, android phones) encourage Whatsapp groups and monitor their work through such groups, vi. Each teacher may adopt 10-20 students each who do not have any digital infrastructure) and be in constant communication with them and engage them academically till the schools are reopened and for other students with some digital infrastructure, Whatsapp groups may be formed.

vii. For this purpose the Headmaster will issue a work distribution order as per the guidelines issued in the ref, 2nd read above regarding implementation of Bridges Courses/ Basic concepts relevant to the students.

viii. All Headmasters and teachers of the Primary Schools of all Govt Managements have to attend the schools once in a week (every Tuesday) w.e.f. 13th July 2020 for ensuring bridge courses are implemented as per the instructions issued from time to time till re-opening of schools during the year 2020-21 in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

ix. All Headmasters and Teachers of the Upper Primary and High Schools of all Govt. Managements have to attend the schools twice in a week (every Monday & Thursday) w.e.f. 13th July 2020 for implementation bridge courses to the students as per the instructions issued from time to time till re-opening of schools during the year 2020-21 in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

X. All the Headmasters and Teachers are requested to ensure that TV lessons conducted in Sapthagiri channel is watched by all the students and ensure that the concepts are understood by the children.

  All the Regional Director of School Education and District Educational Officer are directed to issue necessary instructions to all Headmasters and teachers of Primary /Upper Primary / High Schools under all Govt. managements to comply with the above instructions without fail.
