A.P. STATE EMPLOYEES GROUP INSURANCE SCHEME,1984:
Group Insurance Scheme GIS - సామూహిక భీమా పధకం:
- ఫ్యామిలీ బెనిఫిట్ ఫండ్ (FBF) స్థానంలో గ్రూప్ ఇన్సూరెన్స్ పథకాన్ని 1.11.1984 నుండి ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. G.O.Ms.No.293 Fin తేది: 8.10.1984.
- ఈ పథకం రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు, పంచాయతీ రాజ్ సంస్థలకు, మున్సిపల్, ఎయిడెడ్ సంస్థలలో పనిచేస్తున్న బోదన, బోధనేతర సిబ్బంది 10 సంవత్సరాల కంటే ఎక్కువ సర్వీసు ఉన్న వర్క్ ఛార్జ్ డ్ ఉద్యోగులకు వర్తిస్తుంది.
- ఎయిడెడ్ సంస్థలలో పనిచేస్తున్న బోదన, బోధనేతర సిబ్బందికి 1986 నుండి వర్తింపచేశారు.
- G.O.Ms.No.315 Fin తేది:22.7.1986.
- ఉద్యోగి నవంబర్ తరువాత సర్వీసులో చేరితే వచ్చే సంవత్సరం నవంబర్ నుండి మాత్రమే సభ్యునిగా స్వీకరించాలి. ఎయిడెడ్ యాజమాన్య విషయంలో జులై నుండి సభ్యునిగా స్వీకరించాలి.
- ఉద్యోగికి సర్వీసులో నియామకం, ప్రమోషన్, రివర్షన్ తదితర కారణముల వల్ల స్కేలులో మార్పులు సంభవిస్తే మారిన దాని ప్రకారం GIS ప్రీమియం మార్చుకోవడానికి నవంబర్ 1వ తేదీనే అనుమతించాలి.
- ప్రతినెలా ఉద్యోగి జీతం నుండి GIS ని మినహాయించాలి. ఉద్యోగి EOL లో ఉంటే డ్యూటీలో చేరిన తరువాత ప్రిమీయంను వడ్డీరేటుతో సహా జీతం నుండి మినహాయించాలి. బకాయి మొత్తాన్ని 3 వాయిదాల లోపుగానే మినహాయించాలి.
- ఉద్యోగి ఫారిన్ సర్వీసులో పనిచేస్తున్నప్పుడు, ఆయా శాఖలు ఉద్యోగి ప్రీమియంను మినహాయించి ప్రభుత్వమునకు చలనా రూపంలో సంబంధిత అకౌంట్ హెడ్ కు జమచేయాలి.
- ఈ పథకంలో సభ్యత్వ రుసుం నిర్ణయించడానికి ఉద్యోగులను A,B,C,D అనే 4 గ్రూపులుగా విభజించారు.

- ప్రతి సంవత్సరం మార్చి నెలాఖరున, గడిచిన సంవత్సరం ఏప్రిల్ నుండి మార్చి వరకు GIS ప్రిమీయం ఎంత మొత్తం ఏ స్లాబ్ లో రికవరీ చేశారో అన్ని వివరాలు పట్టిక రూపంలో సర్వీసు రిజిష్టరులో నమోదు చేయాలి.
Nomination:
- ఈ పథకంలోని రూలు.17 ప్రకారం ప్రతి ఉద్యోగి తన కుటుంబ సభ్యులు లేదా సభ్యునికి మాత్రమే నామినేషన్ ఇవ్వాలి. అట్టి విషయాన్ని సర్వీస్ రిజిష్టర్ లో నమోదు చేయాలి.
- 1.11.1994 తర్వాత మినహాయిస్తున్న రూ.15 యూనిట్ లో రూ.4.50 ఇన్సూరెన్స్ నిధికి, రూ.10.50 సేవింగ్స్ నిధికి జమచేస్తారు.
- పదవీ విరమణ, స్వచ్చంధ పదవీ విరమణ చేసినా లేదా ఉద్యోగం నుండి తొలగించబడిన ఉద్యోగులకు ఈ పద్దతిలోని రూలు.10 ప్రకారం అప్లికేషన్-3 ద్వారా సేవింగ్స్ నిధికి జమ అయిన మొత్తాన్ని ఉద్యోగికి చెల్లించాలి. www.gsrmaths.in
ON DEATH WHILE IN SERVICE:
- Insurance Fund: Lump-sum payment of 15,000/ per one-unit subscription
- Saving Fund: Total amount of Saving fund accumulation together with interest on par with retired employees.
- ఉద్యోగి సర్వీసులో మరణిస్తే అతని నామిని లేదా వారసులకు ఇన్సూరెన్స్ నిధి మరియు సేవింగ్స్
- నిధి రెండూ చెల్లిస్తారు.
- ఇన్సూరెన్స్ మొత్తం ఉద్యోగి ఏ గ్రూపులో ఉంటే దాని రేటు ప్రకారం చెల్లిస్తారు:
- A Group Rs.1,20,000
- B Group Rs.60,000
- C Group Rs.30,000
- D Group Rs.15,000
- దీనితో పాటు సేవింగ్స్ నిధిలో జమయిన మొత్తాన్ని కూడా చెల్లిస్తారు.
Loan | Advance:
- పథకంలోని రూలు.11 ప్రకారం ఉద్యోగి తన సర్వీసు కాలంలో ఇన్సూరెన్స్ నిధి నిండి కాని లేదా సేవింగ్స్ నిధి నుండి గాని నగదు తీసుకోవడానికి వీలులేదు.
- ఈ స్కీంలో ఉద్యోగికి ఎలాంటి రుణాలు లేదా అడ్వాన్సులు మంజూరు చేయబడవు.
- ప్రభుత్వానికి బకాయిలు చెల్లించవలసి ఉండగా ఉద్యోగి మరణిస్తే అతని నామిని లేదా వారసులకు చెల్లించే GIS మొత్తం నుండి బకాయిలు సర్దుబాటు చేయడానికి వీలులేదు.
PAYMENT WHEN WHERE ABOUTS NOT KNOWN:
- Savings Fund to be refunded after expiry of one year following the month of disappearance.
- Insurance fund to be refunded after expiry of 7 year following the month of disappearance.
- The family must lodge complaint in the police station concern and obtain report stating that the employee has not been traced, after all efforts are made. An indemnity Bond should be obtained from the nominee /dependents of the employee stating that all payments shall be adjusted against the payment due to the employee in case he/she appears on the scene and makes any claim. Recovery of subscription.
- (a) Full subscription for one year at the rate applicable on the date of dis-appearance + interest, to be recovered from the refundable Savings Fund.
- (b) Premium for Insurance cover + interest for further period of 6 years be recovered from the refundable insurance fund. (G.O.Ms.No.111, F&P Dt. 22-4-88). www.gsrmaths.in
- కనిపించకుండా పోయిన ఉద్యోగి GIS మొత్తాన్ని 7 సంవత్సరాల తరువాత నిర్ధారిత పత్రాలైన FIR, నామినేషన్ పత్రాలు, వారసుల గుర్తింపు లాంటివి దాఖలు చేసి పొందవచ్చును. Govt.Memo.No. B-90/D.6/131-A/Admn.M/91 Fin, తేది: 25.7.1991.
SANCTIONING AUTHORITY:
- In the event of Retirement / Death--- H.O.
- If H.O. is a non-Gazetted officer –- His immediate superior officer.
- For the head of office himself –- His immediate superior officer.
- For head of Dept., -Secry. to Govt., Admin.
- For employees on deputation – Head of parent Dept.,
BASIS FOR SANCTION:
- Annual certificates recorded in the S.R.
- Nominations recorded in the S.R.
a. Insurance Fund and Savings Fund separately.
b. Relevant bio-data of the employee.
c. In the case of death of employee, the names of Beneficiaries and the share of amounts payable to each.
Check list for Sanction Order:
- Name and Designation of the employee.
- Scale of Pay.
- Date of commencement of Insurance cover and the Group to which he/she is enrolled initially.
- Change to higher Group w.e.f.
- Date of retirement/resignation/death.
- Name of the nominee/legal-heirs in the event of Death of the employee.
- Calculation of savings fund and interest thereon as Order from time to time (A separate annexure copy of which should invariably be sent to Director of Insurance)
- Total Amount sanctioned under savings fund (Savings fund + Interest thereon)
- Total amount sanctioned under Insurance fund in the event of death of the employee.
- Head of Account for payment of savings fund/Insurance fund/Interest separately.
