All the District Educational Officers and Principals of AP Model Schools are here by informed that in the ref 3rd cited, the Government have issued orders to take up the admissions of A.P. Model Schools by adopting the lots system as per section 12(1) (c) and 13 (1) provision of RTE Act, 2009.
Accordingly, it is decided to take up the admissions of A.P. Model Schools as per the following schedule duly following the prescribed guidelines and procedure for VI class admissions for the Academic year 2020-21.
Therefore the District Educational Officers are requested to take up the admission process as per schedule and complete by 31-07-2020 without any deviation:
As such all the District Educational Officers and Principals of respective Model Schools are requested to follow the guidelines for smooth completion of admission procedure:

As such all the District Educational Officers and Principals of respective Model Schools are requested to follow the guidelines for smooth completion of admission procedure:
- A press note to be issued in local news papers under news item by respective Principals of Model Schools.
- The Principals should conduct the special drives in the catchment area of Model Schools to motivate the parents by explaining the advantages of Model Schools i.e., free Education in English Medium, free books, free uniform, free food in the afternoon (Mid-Day-Meal), good infrastructure facilities, library and laboratory facilities by utilizing the services of teaching faculty.
- Pamphlets and flexes to be printed and distributed and displayed in surrounding villages and prominent places of Model Schools narrating the advantages of studying in Model Schools.
- Awareness Programme should be conducted at school Level along with MEO, Headmasters of Primary Schools and parents on 08-072020.
- Online application for registration and processing fee as follows: For OC & BC – Rs.100/-per student .For SC &ST -Rs.50/-per student.
- Rule of reservation should be followed in accordance with the reference 3rd cited without any deviation.
- Ensure that 33.33% of seats should be reserved for girls students in all categories of SC, ST, BC and OC.
- Care should be taken while filling up of the unfilled vacancies of the particular category as mentioned in the reference 3rd cited.
- Should not receive any offline applications and no admissions are permitted through offline.
- Should not take admissions beyond the sanctioned seats.
- Sections should be form as per their selection senior number (first 40 one section and remaining 40 is another section).
