ORDER:
In the G.O 1st read above, orders were re-designating the “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar Awards” as “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Vidya Puraskar Awards” for distribution of Awards from the year 2019 onwards on the occasion of birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad as National Education Day on 11th November. These awards shall be distributed at the district level with the participation of District Ministers / MPs / MLAs and restricting the awards to only Government School students.
In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Guntur has requested the Government to issue the similar orders benefitting the students studying in Government Junior Colleges pertains to Intermediate Education Department.
After careful examination in the matter, Government hereby order to extend the benefit of distribution of “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Vidya Puraskar Awards” to the meritorious students of Government Junior Colleges of Intermediate Education also from the year 2019 on wards on the occasion of birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad as National Education Day on 11th November. These awards shall be distributed at the district level with the participation of District Ministers / MPs / MLAs.
The Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Guntur shall take further necessary action in the matter and also make necessary arrangements to conduct the programme in a grandeur and innovative manner at all district headquarters.
