All India Sainik School Entrance Exam AISSEE 2019-2020 Notification, Eligibility, Schedule, Online Application, Sample Papers

VISION
To offer quality education to the children of rural masses and to develop qualities of body, mind and character which will enable the young boys to become good and useful citizens and eventually be a feeder to National Defence Academy.

MISSION
The school was conceived with the motive of bringing public school education to the door step of the common man and sending a maximum number of its cadets to National Defence Academy. The School is indeed rendering a yeoman service to the nation by providing quality education to the children from myriad backgrounds. It enables boys from economically weaker sections of the society to take up an illustrious career as officer in the Armed Forces of the Nation and other celebrated professions. The school emphasizes on all-round development of the cadets so that they consistently strive hard to live up to the expectations of their parents and nation at large.

Aim: To prepare the boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla. Applications (online only) are invited for admission in classes VI & IX for Boys only who qualify the below mentioned eligibility conditions for appearing in All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the academic year 2020-21. The AISSEE will be on OMR based system which have Multiple Choice Questions with four options.

Eligibility and Pattern of Entrance Examination

Admission to the School is Primarily open to Andhra Domicile boys. The boys are admitted according to the seats available at the beginning of the year. Applications are to be submitted online mode only. The Entrance Examination will be on OMR based system which has Multiple Choice questions with four options.

(a) Admission to Class VI: Only those boys who have completed 10 years but not 12 years as on 31 March of the year of admission are eligible. Medium of examination will be English or any other recognized Indian Language. Question papers for Class VI will be supplied in the Medium as indicated in the application form.

(b) Admission to Class IX: Only those boys who have completed 13 years but not 15 years as on 31 March of the Year of admission are eligible for admission to Class IX. For admission to Class IX the boy should be studying in class VIII in a recognized School. The question papers are set in English only. However, the candidates have the option to answer in any recognized Regional Language as indicated by them in the Application Form except English Paper. The pattern of question paper may vary from year to year.

Curriculum: 10 + 2 System of CBSE

Date of Entrance Examination: 05th January 2020 (Sunday)

Examination Centres: Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur, Srikakulam, Hyderabad and Karimnagar.

Scholarships:
     Merit, Income based and Defence Scholarships are available to eligible students. The Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Departments, Govt. of A.P. awards scholarships to SC / ST boys of eligible parents based on their income, as per the rates in vogue. All such scholarships are subject to adequate and timely release of funds from respective State Governments. Only one scholarship can be enjoyed by a student at any given time.

Reservation:
(a) 15% of total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes.
(b) Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana domicile. Balance 33% seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population. Any unutilized seats in this category will be merged with home State seats in the order of merit. Detailed instructions in this regard are available on School website.
(c) 25% of the seats are reserved for children of defence personnel including ex-servicemen.
(d) In case of non-availability of sufficient candidates in SC/ST Category vacancies, those will be filled by candidates from General Category.

Online registration for admission - 05th August 2019 to 23rd September 2019
(Applications are to be submitted in online mode only, no offline application will be accepted)

NOTE: Sainik Schools do not patronize any coaching institute / agent, admission will be strictly in accordance with the merit of the candidate based on the marks scored in the Entrance Examination subject to medical fitness, approved by competent Medical Board.
