All the District Educational Officers in the State are here by informed that SCERT developed Academic Calendar for Primary , Upper Primary and High School levels for the academic year 2019-20. Certain new Initiatives has been planned to introduce in schools to improve levels of learning of the students by making schooling is joyful. In this connection a special programmee No School Bag Day (Srujana Sanivaram sandadi) was designed for Primary school children.
The main objective of this programmee is to create joyful. child friendly learning atmosphere in all Primary schools. As part of this children have to participate in different creative activities. Children can learn things easily by involve in such creative activities. ln this context this No School Bag Day is designed for primary school children.
No School Bag Day (Srujana Sanivaram sandadi) should be conducted 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. The whole day is meant for conduct of interesting creative activities instead of regular class room teaching. Session wise activities was designed separately for class I & II and Class III to V. All children from class I to V should participate class specific activities as mentioned in Academic Calendar.
In this connection all the District Educational Officers may inform to instruct all Primary Schools under all managements to implement No School Bag Day (Srujana Sanivaram sandadi) in the ISI and 3’d Saturday of every month by conducting interesting creative activities. And also instruct all Manda] Educational Officers and School Complex Head Masters to ensure the effective implementation of the programmee as mentioned in the attached annexure of this proceedings.
