West Godavari DEO Instructions on dress code and using mobile phones:
The Commissioner and Director of School Education, A.P, Hyderabad, has issued instructions in the reference 1.t read above and observations were made by the District Educational Officer and oral complaints received from the public it is observed that most of the teachers are not following dress code while attending the school and are dressing by wearing Jeans pants, B Pockets/4 pockets pants, "T"Shirts,Round Neck "T" shirts, flip flop shoes etc. Where in Women teachers are wearing different dress codes and neglecting formal teaching profession dress i.e Saree. The dress should confirm to the professional standards and teaching is a noble profession where the society look at a teacher for standards of living and should be a role rnodel to students.
District Educational Officer, West Godavari, Eluru hereby instructed all the Head Masters and teachers in the District to fallow the following guidelines without any
deviation.
No Head Master/teacher should use mobile phone's during the instruction hours.. The teachers should either deposit their cell phones under the Head Master control, or keep their mobiles in staff rooms in silent mode. They can use it only during lunch break. If any teacher is found using mobile during instruction hours, stringent disciplinary action will be initiated as per AP CCA Rules.
Gents Teachers should not wear Jeans pants, I Pockets/4 pockets pants, "T"Shirts,Round Neck "T" shirts, flip flop shoes etc.
Women teachers should not wear different dress codes and should not neglect formal teaching profession dress i.e Saree.
Physical Education Teachers are exempted from wearing saree.
