The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference read above and they are informed that under Mid-Day Meal Scheme 3 eggs per week per child are being provided as additional food item. As per orders of Government issued in memo 111 read above for the year 2017-18 the tender had been floated and the work of supply of eggs was allotted to the following three suppliers:
1. M/s M. Sridhar Babu
2. United Traders, Vizag
3. Sri MarUlhi Agros, Srikakulam
As per the work order for supply the suppliers have supplied at the rale of 3 eggs per child per week for the academic year 2017-18. As per the contract the suppliers have to supply @. 3 eggs per child per week for the period from 01/08/2017 to 30/06/2018. Further, though the budget has been allocated orders for supply of 5 eggs per child per week from the academic year 2018-19
are yet to be received from Government.
In view of the above circumstances, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to ensure that the existing supply of 3 eggs to the children under MOM is resumed and continued till the Government orders received for supply of eggs per week without interruption. Any modification in supply of eggs will be informed to them.
The DEOs are, further, requested to take requisite step for supply of quality eggs to the children.
This has got the approval of the Commissioner of School Education Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati.
