All the Principals of D.I.E.T.s in the State are informed that as per the Plan of Action 2017-18, the Population Education Cell of this office has proposed to conduct State Level (1) Role Play and (2) Folk Dance District Level Competitions to the students of classes VIII & IX· of Government of (all Managements) Schools in the last week of November,2017. Hence, the Principals of DIETs in the state are requested to organise District level competitions on or before 15th November,2017 as per guidelines enclosed.
An amount of Rs.2,79,5001 -(Rupees two lakhs seventy nine thousand five hundred only) is hereby sanctioned to all the Principals of DIETs in the State @ Rs.21 ,5001 -per each DIET towards conduct of Role Play and Folk Dance Competitions.
1) Role Play:
The unit cost for conduct of Role Play Competition in a Division.:
1st Prize Rs. 300 x 4 =Rs. 1,200
2nd Prize Rs. 200 x 4 =Rs.800
3rd Prize Rs. 150 x 4 =Rs. 600
= Rs. 2,600
Honorarium for Judges Rs. 300 x 3 =Rs. 900
Honorarium for Principal, DIET Rs. 500 x 1 =Rs. 500
Stationery & Banner =Rs. 1200
Lunch & Refreshments Rs. SOl -x 50 =Rs. 3500
Photos & Documentation .. = Rs. 600
Miscellaneous = Rs. 800
Total = Rs. 10,100
Folk Dance Competition:
The unit cost for conduct of Folk Dance Competition in a Division.:
1st Prize
Rs.300 x 6 =Rs.1,800
2nd Prize Rs.200 x 6 =Rs.1,200
3rd Prize Rs. 150 x 6 = Rs. 900
Toala Rs. 3,900
Honorarium for Judges Rs. 300 x 3 = Rs. 900
Honorarium for Principal, DIET Rs. 500 x1 =Rs. 500
Stationery & Banner =Rs. 1200
Lunch & Refreshments Rs. SOl -x 50 =Rs. 3500
Photos & Documentation .. = Rs. 600
Miscellaneous =Rs. 800
Total = Rs.11,400
The Principals of DIETs are requested to conduct the above competitions in each district separately as per the schedule and depute 1st prize winners in Role Play and Folk Dance Competitions to participate to the State Level Competitions. Further, they are requested to furnish the following information after conducting the competitions:

All the first prize winners will participate in the State Level Competitions. The venue and date for the State Level will be informed later.
Note: The students, who participated in Role Play Competition should not participate in the Folk Dance Competition and vice versa. (One student should participate only one competition only).
The detailed expenditure particulars along with original bills / vouchers should be submitted to this office within a week after completion of the above programmes.
