Korukonda Sainik School Entrance Test 2018

                                                    ALL INDIA SAINIK SCHOOLS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
                                                        SCHEDULED ON JANUARY 07, 2018 (SUNDAY)

1. The next All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admissions into classes VI & IX for the academic session 2018-19 will be conducted on 07 January 2018 (Sunday), The following changes have been made in the revised pattern of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination:-
(a) Changeover from descriptive exam to OMR based exam. The process will also include introduction of OMR based application form.
(b) Change in the pattern of the questions papers for both classes VI & IX.
(c) Change in the reservation of seats to be filled in Sainik Schools mainly with regard to distribution of seats under "Outside the home state quota".

BREAK DOWN OF MARKS

1. Change over from descriptive exam to OMR based exam. The process will also include introduction of OMR based application form. The written examination for Class VI will be held as per the following programme:

Medium of examination will be English or any other recognised Indian Language. Question papers for Class VI will be supplied in the medium as indicated in the application form.

Admission to Class IX

  1. Only those candidates who have completed 13 years but not crossed 14 years as on 01 July of the year of admission are eligible for admission to Class IX. For 20182019 session the candidates should have been born between 02 July 2004 and 01 July 2005 (both days inclusive) and should have passed class VIII from a recognised school before admission. The boys are admitted according to the seats available at the beginning of the year.
  2. The written examination for Class IX will be held as per the following Time Table:

(For Class IX, the question papers will be set in English only. However, the
