- For SC/ST(15%, 7.5% of Total Seats)
- Out of remaining 67% for boys of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (25 % for Defence Category including Ex Service)
33% for boys of other states & Union Territories in ratio of their male population. Any unutilized seats in this category will be merged with home state seats in order of merit. (25 % for Defence Category including Ex Service)

Last date: Duly completed application form must reach to Principal Sainik School Kalikiri, Chittoor dist, Andhra Pradesh-517234 by 05 Dec 2017 till 1700 hrs positively. Application received after due date/incomplete application will be summarily rejected and fee once paid will not be refunded. School is not responsible for postal delay.
Issue of Duplicate Admit Card: The list of candidates issued with Admit Cards will be uploaded on school website. In case of non receipt of the admit cards candidates can report to the assigned centre on the date of examination one hour in advance.
Scholarship: Merit, Income based and Defence Scholarships are available to eligible students. The Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Departments, Govt. of A.P. awards scholarships to SC/ST boys of eligible parents based on their income, as per the rates in vogue. All such scholarships are subject to adequate and timely release of funds from respective State Governments. Only one scholarship can be enjoyed by a student at any given time.

AISSEE 2018-19 EXAMINATION PATTERN
1. The next All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admissions into classes VI & IX for the academic session 2018-19 will be conducted on 07 January 2018 (Sunday), The following changes have been made in the revised pattern of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination:-
(a) Changeover from descriptive exam to OMR based exam. The process will also include introduction of OMR based application form.
(b) Change in the pattern of the questions papers for both classes VI & IX.
(c) Change in the reservation of seats to be filled in Sainik Schools mainly with regard to distribution of seats under "Outside the home state quota"

d) The question paper will be one single paper compared to previous two papers; paper I and paper II pattern. The subjects for class VI will be Mathematics, General Knowledge (Sc & SST), Language and Intelligence. The subjects for class IX will be Mathematics, English, Intelligence, General Science and Social Studies. e) Medium of Examination for Class VI examinations will be English, Hindi. The question paper for Class VI will continue to be set in English and all the recognised official languages. But question paper for class IX will be set in English only and students are required to answer in English.
