ORDER:
The Commissioner of School
Education, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada
vide ref read above has requested to accord permission to Akshaya Patra
Foundation for setting up of Centralized Kitchen in Kuppam Mandal for providing MDM to the students studying
in Government Schools of Kuppam
Constituency with a
view to improve quality, hygiene of MDM and
sanction advance of Rs.7.99 crores
(Rupees Seven Crores and Ninety Nine lakhs only) as additional funds.
2. After careful examination of the
matter, Government hereby accord administrative approval for sanction of
Rs.7.99 Crores (Rupees Seven Crores and Ninety
Nine Lakhs only) as additional
amount to provide advance to
Akshaya Patra Foundation for setting up of Centralized Kitchen to serve MDM
around 412 schools in Kuppam Constituency,
Chittoor District subject to condition
to engage / hire Cook-cum-Helpers / Implementing Agencies
(SHGs) who are already preparing and serving MDM in the said schools and the
said advance shall be adjusted from the
future payments to be made to Akshaya Patra Foundation in installments.
3. Government also permit the Commissioner
of School Education, A.P., Vijayawada
to enter into MoU with Akshaya Patra
Foundation for setting up of Centralized Kitchen in Kuppam Mandal as per
the guidelines of MDM Scheme.
4. The Commissioner of School Education,
Andhra Pradesh shall take further necessary action accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.Education) Dept vide their
U.O.No.41022/124/2017, dated 15.5.2017.
