Rc.26, SCERT,AP-Building the analytics ecosystem in the state-workshop

All the Regional Joint Directors, District Education Officers and District Project Officers of School Education in Andhra Pradesh are informed that capacity bUilding on assessments in the state is currently underway through setting up a state-of-the-art Assessment Cell at APSCERT. Capacity enhancement of DCEBs on strengthening test administration processes will also be conducted through the cell.
High quality assessments need to be combined with a strong analytics ecosystem to ensure quick dissemination, efficient reviews and focused remedial training, thus improving learning levels of school children. To this effect on the analytics front, 3R (Primary, Class I-V) and CCE dashboards (Secondary, Class VI-X) have been developed with the help of partners of School Education. These dashboards are open to all Education administrators and teachers to review their respective district/mandal/school child performance.
In an effort to institutionalize a process of academic monitoring and learning outcome focused reviews, the Commissioner has decided to review assessment results with all districts, post each assessment. These state level review meetings will use data analytics from the dashboard with a focus on systematic interventions and action points required to influence the learning levels of children.
A workshop and hands-on training session on assessment analytics will be conducted in Vijayawada on 23rd May 2017(venue will be intimated soon). All districts are requested to Identify nodal persons from each district, who will be trained on using the dashboards. Nodal members will distil the findings/insights of their respective districts using a sample provided and any additional relevant analysis.
